A car slid out of control on the Route 12 bridge over Fox Lake, killing one person and injuring
four others. The accident occured just as freezing rain was falling over the area. Fox Lake was assisted at the scene by Round Lake and at the landing zone by Spring Grove FD. |

Antioch Fire Department saves car dealership

The Antioch Fire Department was having it's annual Christmas party when they received a
report that Country Pontiac and Buick was on fire. First arriving units reported fire through the roof in the service area of the building. With plenty of manpower available, firefighters were able to contain the fire to the attic above the service department. A box alarm was activated which brought in departments from all over Lake County and parts of southeastern Wisconsin. |
