Fox Lake FD responds to a two car head-on accident

Round Lake area home burns out of control before the Fire Department is called.

The Round Lake FPD was called to the scene of a house fire and arrived to find a
home that was fully involved. Round Lake Squad 2651 arrived first and reported heavy
fire and that they would be going on a defensive attack. 2623 arrived next and set up a
master stream along with multiple hand lines. The house was scheduled to be torn
down and it did not take much for the fire to get a big head start on the Round Lake
crews. Grayslake sent an automatic response Engine to the scene.

firefighters transported one patient after she was extricated from the car.
