Vehicle Accidents & Structure Fires keep Fox Lake Firefighters busy.

Fox Lake Firefighters had there hands full with a large lakefront house fire. A
box alarm was pulled when extra manpower and Tankers were needed. The
home was located at the end of a narrow dead end road, making very hard to
get equipment to the scene.

An few hour after the Fox Lake 4th of July fireworks, smoke was reported coming
from the doors of a trucking company. The first arriving Engine Company found a
smoke charged building with no fire showing. Firefighters found a semi tractor
burning in one of the last truck bays. Tankers were dispatched from surrounding
departments and the fire is under investigation.
