Operation Bayanihan Future site- July 19, 1998 Various Filipino organizations and community members participated in the clean-up effort at the newly acquired property donated by AMFAC. Government officials such as Gov. Ben Cayetano, U.S. Congressman Neil Abercrombie, State Senator Cal Kawamoto and Rep. Jun Abinsay were also present.

Executive Committee Meeting Filcom Center Office-October 15, 1998 Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo, the Architects, presented a design of the proposed project. Also at the meeting, Narvacan Association of Hawaii President, Lolita Valdez, presented a $5,000 check donation in support of the project.

A bigger replica
of the FilCom Center model was built by the San Nicolas Goodwill
Foundation of Hawaii as their Float entry during the 1999 AT&T Filipino Fiesta and Parade. The replica was copied not to scale from a smaller model designed and created by Wimberly Allison Tongg and Goo. The San Nicolas Goodwill Foundation captured first place in the Float Division.

Monthly Clean-up at the site. Some Filipino organizations participated actively in the monthly clean-up effort at the newly acquired site. This is coordinated by our Facilities Manager, Ben Sanchez Jr.
