These fiddle tabs are easy to use. The top line indicates the name of the string to be played. The line beneath it with the numbers indicates which finger you are to use. The Index finger is #1, the Middle finger is #2, the Ring finger is #3, the Baby finger is #4. I have named the key for each song. Refer to the Picture of Key link for a picture of where to place your fingers for each key. Whenever you will change from one string to the next, the name of the new string is indicated by letter - G, D, A, E. Whenever an open string is played it is also indicated by letter. The number for an open string is 0.
