MISSION STATEMENT

The goals of the Human/Nature Foundation are the preservation of botanical
species, including food, medicinal, useful, indigenous and/or endangered
species, and to preserve open space zones and ecosystems for the benefit
of wildlife. To function as an educational center, to facilitate in human kinds
understanding of, and interaction with the natural world, and to foster
a consciousness of stewardship within the natural world. Also to be
a model for eco-friendly technologies in a nurturing, natural setting.

We are not requesting cash donations. At the same time we do not wish
to discourage those who wish to assist, and find financial aid the most
do-able means through which to do so. Also, individuals may offer
their second hand goods, or volunteer labor in order to assist.

The Human /Nature Foundation is not a tax exempt organization.
Though we realize we may not receive as many large contributions,
At the same time we can do more good with less. And our contributors
can know that their generous donations are going to sponsor the
programs they were intending to fund. We are staffed solely by
unpaid volunteers, and our website is run free of charge/advertiser
supported. (so please pardon the ads as we have no control over them)
We thank you for your support.

NOTE: If anyone is interested in "upgrading" H.N.F. to a non-profit
tax exempt status, we would not object. But it must be understood,
this will not change our commitment to use proceeds solely for the
purposes stated above. You may, upon our approval, donate your effort
and/or resources to pursue such an endevor, but that will not
change our policy. Thank you for your understanding.

Until further notice we should be determined to be "OFF-GRID" and are
no longer receiving our E mails on a regular basis, if at all.
While drop ins are welcome, we can't guarantee the quality of your
experience if we don't know to expect you. Always come with a
plan B if you don't have firm reservations established. We
recommend requesting reservations at least a month or two in
advance via Snail-Mail . send your INFO to:

PROGRESS REPORT
Preliminary trails have been "blazed" throughout most of the 3 acre
parcel. These trails have been primarily exploratory as a means of
finding appropriate planting sites and the most unobtrusive and
non-hazardous means of navigating the site. The maze may or may not
reflect the initial trails, so they have been formed using
the lay aside method rather than clear cutting.
A parking area and access driveway have been designated, and a
32' by 48' area has been cleared for a greenhouse. A small
300 gallon catchment tank sits on a small rise for gravity fed water
distribution. (more tanks to be added later) Also a small area is
being worked and planted for organic gardening. We are constantly
gathering materials for composting, and using the finished product
as fast as we can make it.
Loquat Tree

Aside from passion fruit, red globe grapes, and green tea, the
following type and number of trees have also been planted on the site...

* Numbers reflect what we had available, not what is desired.

We are limiting each variety to Five trees.
