What is Ryan Hicks Ministries?
There are no "employees" at Ryan Hicks Ministries, because we rely strictly on the saints to volunteer of their time and abilities. This way we can use the finances available to get the gospel out, and not to pay for a payroll or new building. We do this because we are not a business, but are a ministry with the sole purpose of getting the gospel out and teaching believers the full counsel of God and to obey all things that Jesus commanded (Matthew 28:19-20).
Suporters can rest assured that their support is not going to pay Ryan Hicks, volunteers, etc. All finances are used in furthering the minsitry's outreach to the world through radio, television, print, internet, and any other available means.
Selling the gospel, begging for money, charging credit cards, and other devilish ploys used to rob God's people of their money are not employed by this ministry. We are dedicated to making the gospel free to all people, and will not sell our tapes, books, and teaching materials (Matthew 10:8; 1 Corinthians 9:18; 10:33; etc).
Tragically many ministries today have left their first love and now server mammon (Matthew 6:24). They have decided to lay up treasures on earth, and in doing such their heart is no longer in the ministry.
Matthew 6:19-21
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
We seek to help these ministers who have fallen away from the faith and have deluded themselves into believing the love of money (1 Timothy 6:10) and other such wickedness is tolerable. AS the Lord has said, "I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live" (Ezekial 33:11).
We seek to follow the Scripture and "restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted." (Galatians 6:1). In doing such we have saved a soul from death and hid a multitude of sins (James 5:19-20)! We rejoice greatly when fallen brethren are restored to their fellowship an relationship with the Lord! We are here to benefit the kingdom of God and be a blessing to His people.
We stand on the word of God as truth and teach the doctrine of the Lord Jesus and His apostles of personal holiness and power over sin, sickness, and the devil (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; Hebrews 12:14; 1 John 3:1-10; 5:18; etc.). No room for compromise is allowed. Just the plain BIble truth is taught in humble obedience to the Lord.
