The Unholy Eucharist BY RYAN HICKS © 1999 Ryan Hicks |
The Eucharist is the big thing in the Roman Catholic religion. It is the act of the faithful Roman Catholic eating their wafer-god. They claim to be following the word of the Lord Jesus Christ in John 6:51-58. The Catholics even claim to be taking Jesus literally here, but they miss a big point that their own teaching destroys. If they are literally to eat Jesus' flesh and drink His blood, then a little cookie and some alcohol (wine) is not going to be literally Jesus' body and blood. If they are to take this literally, like they claim, then they need to go to the right hand of the Father and take a bite of Jesus' glorified body and drink some of His blood!
As foolish as that may sound, the Roman Catholic understands the dilemma they get themselves into and thus has to dream up false doctrines. Thus, they made up the doctrine of transubstantiation in which they claim their cookie and alcohol literally become Jesus' body and blood. Yet, they run into more problems with the cookie and alcohol being excreted. Thus, they claim that the cookie-god and alcohol is totally absorbed by the body and not excreted. This makes their excuse against the claim that they serve a toilet-god that they excrete, or in other words they serve a feces-god of their toliet.
Yet, I ask any doubting Roman Catholic to fast for three days before you take the Eucharist. Take a big portion of what you call Jesus' body and blood. Notice that you excrete your cookie-god in the form of feces and urine. That feces and urine is the Roman Catholic god. Think about it! That is supposed to literally be Jesus that you ate and you just dumped Him into the toilet bowl like you would any meal!!!!
Think about the rats that get into the wafers at Roman Catholic churches. Is their feces that results from eating the unconsecrated "host" to be taken before the Roman Catholic church and consecrated as "Jesus?" Can you see the absurdity of this pagan teaching?
Let's look at the verses that the Roman Catholic church loves to use to attempt to prove their cookie-god religion.
John 6:47-64
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
48 I am that bread of life.
49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.
59 These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
The Roman Catholic that uses these verses to "prove" their Eucharist will shake in terror if you actually get to v.63-64. Why? Because it throws their whole theory to the ground. Jesus makes it clear that He is not talking about anyone literally eating Him for He says, "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." It was not His flesh that would profit them, it was the words that He was speaking to them! Eating the flesh and drinking His blood are obviously figures of a deep belief and trust in Him. If you compare v.47-48 with v.53-57 it also makes it clear that belief in Jesus and eating His flesh and drinking His blood are the same thing.
Acts 15:28-29
28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
Acts 21:25
25 As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.
When a person worships the wafer-god they have made a idol. You may say that your worship of a wafer is not worshipping a idol because it is literally Jesus, but making a image of anything and worshipping it is idolatry.
"If anyone denies that in the sacrament of the most [un]Holy Eucharist are contained truly, really and substantially the body and blood together with the soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, and consequently the whole Christ, but says that He is in it only as in a sign, or figure or force, Let him be anathema." (Canons on the Most Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist, Thirteenth Session, Canon 1).
So you must believe that the cookie literally becomes the Lord Jesus Christ: body, soul, and spirit, in order to be a Catholic. Otherwise if you believe the Bible they pronounce you "anathema" or cursed.
I always ask for Roman Catholics to think about what the Catholic Church is teaching them and compare it with the Bible. Far too many Roman Catholics that I meet have been brainwashed (or beaten, raped, tortured by parents, nuns, priests, popes, etc.) into not thinking for themselves, especially when it comes to doctrine. If the Catholic Church was really the true church, which it is not, then why is it so fearful of its members being able to think for themselves? No true Christian group is afraid of its members thinking for themselves.
The Catholic knows deep down in their heart that the Mass, the Eucharist, the Immaculate Conception, Mary being the Queen of Heaven, etc. are all pagan teachings that have no origins or association with the God of the Bible. Accept the truth today and flee from the man-made religion of Roman Catholicism that only serves to empower the pope and his popelings and dehumanize the followers of Catholicism by treating them as dumb animals (and cannibals eating their "Jesus") that have no ability to think or reason on their own.
