WHY THE BLACK RIBBON?

It is a symbol of mourning for those who are spiritually dead.

For mothers who are deceived into believing that abortion is their right and that their child is not a person. Neither the supreme court nor any other human authority can grant the right to kill an innocent human being. Abortion is murder.

For sodomites whose lifestyle is an abomination to God and who have deluded themselves into believing that they cannot change. The "homosexual [sodomite] movement" may fool men into believing that this behavior is acceptable, but "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" (Galatians 6:7).

For atheists who pretend to believe that God does not exist. God calls atheists fools and liars (Psalms 14:1; 53:1). He says that the evidence for His existence is so powerful that all men know that He is. So-called atheists only feign unbelief so that they can serve themselves rather that God.

For those who would seek to murder those of different views, opinions, national origins, race, language, or even sinful lifestyle choice (including abortionists, sodomites, and all other sinners). God has called us to peace (1 Corinthians 7:15; Hebrews 12:14). The Lord says, "I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live" (Ezekiel 33:11).

For women who arrogantly violate God's commandments concerning women. Woman was created from and for the man (1 Corinthians 11:8-9), God's purposes and laws do not change. The "women's movement" is a rebellious, filthy, and sinful movement against God. It is truly a "movement" toward Hell.

For humanists who foolishly try to make man into God by setting up human beings as the ultimate moral authority and truth.

For relativists who have abandoned absolute truth to believe a lie. Truth is not a matter of personal choice and desire, it is absolute regardless of who seeks to deny it. Reality is not optional.

For globalists who would eliminate national sovereignty in favor of an atheistic world government.

For believers in new age practices who mistakenly think they are reaching God through the devilish new age practices. Astrology, palm reading, psychics, tarot cards, witchcraft, channeling, incantations, and all such occult activities are forbidden by God and are the activities of the damned.

For the abusive spouse, who thinks their husband or wife is there to be emotionally, physically, and or spiritually abused by them. Husband you are to love your wife as Christ loved the Church (Ephesians 5:25) and as you love yourself (Ephesians 5:33). Wife you are to be subject to your husband in everything (Ephesians 5:24) and reverence your husband (Ephesians 5:33).

For bigots of all races and nationalities who think they are better than another person by the mere fact they are of a different race, "For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself" (Galatians 6:3). And for those bigots that think that all other races are out to get them, respect of persons is sin (Proverbs 24:23; 28:21; James 2:9). There is no respect of persons with God (2 Chronicles 19:7; Romans 2:11; Ephesians 6:9; Colossians 3:25; 1 Peter 1:17).

Acts 10:34-35
34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

For evolutionists who teach that the universe is an accident. Those who believe that the universe "just happened to come into being" and life "just happen to arise" and humans "just happened to develop" all by random natural processes, are guilty of peddling bad science, poor reasoning and horrible philosophy.

For those who believe they can find peace with God by "doing good works" and being "a nice person."

For those who believe that "all religions are basically the same and worship the same god." The Bible makes it plain that there are many false gods and lords that people follow, but only true God (1 Corinthians 8:5-6)

For those who believe that "a loving God would never send anyone to hell." "Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him" (Luke 12:5).

The black of the ribbon represents the eternal darkness and torment that await all who, like those above, seek their own "rights" above the righteousness of God who made them. Make no mistake, whoever believes or practices any of the things listed above is in big trouble.

The above explanations of the black ribbon may have offended you, especially if you are involved in one of the sins mentioned. The intent is not to offend, rather to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). It is my humble prayer that you truly consider your life before God and turn to Him in full repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

This brings us to the white portion of the ribbon.

The white of the ribbon represents the glorious eternal life in Christ Jesus that awaits those who turn from such evil things, believe the Bible, and follow the Lord in obedience to His word.

John 14:6
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Either you go through the Lord Jesus by confessing and forsaking sin (Proverbs 28:13; 1 John 3:9), or you go to hell, there are no other options, nor is there a middle road (Matthew 6:24).

John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Romans 10:9-13
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
