The vast majority of Catholics are raised in a Catholic family and never think for themselves. They never study to find out if their religion is the truth, rather they accept it as truth because it is what they have known. The Catholic Church is not happy about Catholics reading the Bible, for they know that the Bible rebukes their false teachings and doctrines of devils. This is why up until recently the Bible was banned from laypeople in the Catholic Church. Now, due to the easy accessibility of the Bible, the Roman Catholic Church just makes sure that its people believe that only the priests and popes can interpret it correctly. Thus, the Catholic that does read his Bible and comes across Scripture clearly rebuking false and damnable doctrines in the Roman Catholic Church they just assume that they are "misinterpreting it" because they do not have a Catholic priest to interpret (i.e pervert) it for them.
When the Roman Catholic Church tells you that you need them to understand the Bible they are telling you two things:
- They think you are stupid and cannot understand plain human language.
- They think God is stupid and cannot reveal Himself in His word clearly for all alike to understand.
If you will simply read you King James Bible, the only true Bible, and believe and act on what it says, then you will find the truth. The truth is not found in Roman Catholicism, Roman Catholicism's idol goddess Mary, Mormonism, Islam, or any other cult. The Truth is only found in Jesus Christ and His holy word, the Bible! Read the Bible today and every day! Repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ alone for your salvation. It cannot be attained any other way than through Him (John 14:6)!
