It was really amazing to see that 28% of the people that responded did not cling to the man made tradition of omnipresence, rather they believed the plain teaching of the Scriptures. Modern theologians have tried to strike fear into believers when they reject their theories. They will act as if the fact that something has been taught for years automatically means that it must be truth. Yet, the Bible does not teach that God is omnipresent, rather it clearly teaches that God goes from place to place and is not everywhere at all times or even that He is everywhere any of the time.
The false doctrine of omnipresence is one of the many doctrines in which man has added all kinds of pagan thoughts to "make God look better." This naturally assumes that what He has revealed about Himself is not enough and that His true self is not as great and Almighty as they think He should be. They assume that any limits on any of His attributes is incorrect, yet God is not angry all the time, nor does He know every little tiny thing that men will do before they do it (Jeremiah 19:5; 32:35; 44:21), etc., but this does not mean that He is any less God. It is amazing to see the creature trying to form the Creator into the god of their imaginations, rather than believe what the Creator has revealed about Himself.
