Mormonism is another religion like Islam that many blacks get involved in not realizing that they are viewed as cursed slaves who cannot receive the full blessings of the gospel. While Christianity, which is falsely called "The White Man's Religion," has taught for centuries, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28), and, "Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all" (Colossians 3:11), and, "For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit." (1 Corinthians 12:13).
An official letter from the First Presidency of the Church dated July 17, 1947 says, "From the days of the Prophet Joseph even until now, it has been the doctrine of the Church, never questioned by the church leaders, that the Negroes are not entitled to the full blessings of the gospel" (This is quoted in Mormonism and the Negro, pp. 46-47, by Stewart and Berrett). I am sure that "Negroes are not entitled to the full blessings of the [Mormon false] gospel," but they are entitled to the FULL blessings of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 12:13; Galatians 3:28; Colossians 3:11)!
You are cursed of the Lord if you are black according to the book of Mormon.
The Book of Mormon says in 2 Nephi 5:21, "And he had caused the cursing to come upon them, yea, even a sore cursing, because of their iniquity. For behold, they had hardened their hearts against him, that they had become like unto a flint; wherefore, as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they may not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them."
3 Nephi 2:15 says, "And their [the Lamanites] curse was taken from them, and their skin became white like unto the Nephites;"
Jacob 3:8-9 says, "O my brethren, I fear that unless ye shall repent of your sins that their skins will be whiter than yours, when ye shall be brought with them before the throne of God. Wherefore, a commandment I give unto you, which is the word of God, that ye "revile no more against them because of the darkness of their skins; neither shall ye revile against them because of their filthiness; but ye shall remember your own filthiness, and remember that their filthiness came because of their fathers. [Cp. Ezekiel 18]"
This is nonsense and ignorant. According to the Mormon's false gospel the black skin color is a curse and is "even a sore cursing!" This shows that when Joseph Smith was dreaming up his new religion he was a racist and made a whole religion that is such.
Brigham Young said, "You see some classes of the human family that are black, uncouth, uncomely, disagreeable and low in their habits, wild and seemingly without the blessings of the intelligence that is generally bestowed upon mankind" (Journal of Discourses, v.7, p.290).
He also said, "Shall I tell you the law of God in regard to the African race? If the white man who belongs to the chosen seed mixes his blood with the seed of Cain [the African race], the penalty, under the law of God, is death on the spot. This will always be so" (Journal of Discourses, v.10, p.110).
The Mormon Church has always taught that the seed of Cain is the black race. They rail against the black race, yet claim to be the restoration of Christianity! Why do they not restore the Christian message of equal rights in the gospel for all regardless of race, except it be because they are an obviously false "White Man's Religion" that is based on racism and sin?
