While many religions rise and fall over the ages, the ones that stay with us are the ones which have a well developed scripture as their foundation. This is true of the Hindus with their Bagivad Gita and the Mormons with their twenty odd feet of written revelation, but it is of the highest consideration in the comparison of the Bible of Christianity with the Koran of Islam. These two faiths rise or fall on the authority of their scriptures, so we start here by comparing Islam and biblical Christianity. There is a mass of sub-Christian rubbish and novel babblings being spread around by people calling themselves Christians. I stand without apology with those who have chosen the "narrow way" which Jesus told us we must follow if we would please God. (FOOTNOTE 1: Matthew 7:14 Please note that we start over in footnote numbering as we begin each new book part.)
The only text we will be using is the King James Bible. In Biblical Christianity we have an absolute faith in the literal use of the Bible for all matters of faith, social exchange, politics, and hope of the future. We assume the Muslim reader would claim the same for his Koran and the Hadith of Muhammed. So, this is our starting point-- one Bible and one Koran.

According to Muh-ammed, Allah and Jehovah of the Bible are the same God. It is quite easy to show that the sixty six books of the Bible agree with each other in supernatural harmony, even though there were many writers who wrote over a period of about 1500 years. If the Koran of Allah is an extension of the revelation of Jehovah, as the Mullahs claim, then there will be complete support and agreement of the Bible by the Koran.
We may assume this because the Bible was given well before the Koran, and we assume that the Mullahs would approve because they are constantly quoting the Bible these days to try to get Muhammed into Bible prophecy. (FOOTNOTE 2: 20 / 134 / shelf; What the Bible Says About Muhammed, Ahmed Deedat, Islamic Propagation Center, 3rd Floor, 124 Queen St, Durban, 4001, Rep of So. Africa. Any serious Christian witness to Muslims must include Deedat's writings as preparation for Muslim questions.) Certainly they would not quote the Bible if they thought it was defective. That would be like building one's faith on Reader's Digest.
So, we completely reject the notion that some of the Mullahs use, that the Bible was corrupted and had to be corrected by the Koran. We have our doubts about Allah, but the God of the Bible promised us that He would preserve His Word just as accurately as He gave it "in the original manuscripts" and in our hands at this moment. (FOOTNOTE 3: Psalm 138:2 shows that the Bible is as secure as the very Name of God.) So, we take the Bible as the truth, and we examine the Koran by the earlier record, the Bible.
We also will include the Hadith, the sayings of Muhammed, because they are supposed to be just as authoritative and just as inspired as the Koran. Also, it is clear that the Hadith govern the Muslim's life and thought far more than the Koran, so the Hadith must be examined also. (FOOTNOTE 4: 71 / 525 / 875) While we only give the English translation of the Koran and the Hadith here, the Arabic is available upon request by writing to me through the publisher.
We do not agree with the Mullahs, that God is only able to give His revelation in perfection only in Arabic. We have no fear of losing the true meaning of the Koran because we use an English translation. We believe that God can deliver the truth of the King James Bible in English
Page 44
as well as in any other language. If Allah only knows and understands Arabic, then that is the first proof that he is not all-powerful and all-knowing. So, we will assume the Koran can be accurately examined in English as well as in Arabic.
To some of you, even many Muslim readers, this will be the first time you have read portions of the Hadith. Through the rest of this book we will be quoting Al Hadis as compiled by Al-Haj Maulana Fazlul Karim, published by The Book House in Lahore, Pakistan, 1938. The four volume set is still in print, though I cannot say if recent editions have been abridged or edited. The Hadith is almost impossible to find in English outside of Muslim circles. You will see from the quotes, why the Mullahs prefer to hide it from the outside world.
As the Roman Catholic Church hides the Papal Bulls of Popes, like Boniface VIII who claimed to be God-- as the Hindus hide the filthy sex-crazed Kali behind flowery language-- as the Mormons hide the insatiable lust of Joseph Smith-- and as Freemasonry hides its Phallic god, Jabulon, and goddess Lilith cult in the Royal Arch degree and Eastern Star-- even so Islam tries to hide the sayings of Muhammed, the Hadith, by keeping them in Arabic or by publishing greatly abridged editions.
I caution the Christian reader to be compassionate regarding the Hadith as you talk to the ordinary Muslim. He does not have any idea how depraved the Hadith is. He only hears laundered
Page 45
bits and pieces of it verbally doled out by the Sheiks and Mullahs. It will be quite enough for him to read it here, so don't be rude or sarcastic with this information.
Since all faiths rest on their revelation, we will examine what the Bible and the Koran say about themselves and each other as scripture. Muhammed is telling Muslims about the Koran's relationship to the Torah when he says:
Al Koran, Sura 6:92, And this is the blessed Scripture (Koran) which we have revealed, confirming that which (was revealed) before it, (the Torah and Gospel), that thou mayest warn the Mother of Villages (Mecca) and those around her...."

Muhammed's claim is clear, that the Koran extends beyond the Bible to add revelation to it, and the Koran "confirms" the Bible. This implies that the Bible needed authentication by the Koran. Let us see what the Bible says about those who add to it:
Bible, Revelation 22:18-19, For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

We see right away that Muhammed was in deep trouble. The Apostle John, in the last book of the Bible, was commanded by God to pronounce the wrath of God on anyone who adds to the Bible. The Mullahs who quote the Bible are also in deep trouble since they claim that Jews and Christians have added to the Bible. Ahmed Deedat drives home the Koranic claim that Jesus will have to account for the zeal of Christians who worship him as God. He points us to the Koran. (FOOTNOTE 5: 30 / 33 / 332 He says 119-121 in his book, but he got the numbering wrong. I find this is not uncommon, and I suspect it is done by design to confuse those who check him out.) (Quote from A. Yusef Ali translation):
Al Koran, Sura 5:Verse 116, And behold! Allah will say: O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou say unto men, "Worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah?" He (Jesus) will say, [ a ]"Glory to thee! Never could I say what I had no right (to say)... [ b ] Thou knowest what is in my heart though I know not what is in thine..."
Verse 118, (Regarding how God should deal with Christians, Jesus is supposed to have said) [ c ] "If thou dost punish them, they are thy
Page 46
servants: If thou dost forgive them, thou art the exalted in power and wise."
There are many contradictions of the Bible by the Koran, but here are three potent ones:
Let us have a more detailed look it the above text:
[ a ] Jesus never told anyone to worship Mary, nor did the early church do so. It was later that the Roman Catholic Church introduced this blasphemy. But, Jesus DID invite and permit his true followers to worship only Him as God:
Bible, Matthew 8:2, And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
Matthew 9:18, While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live. And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples.
Matthew 14:33, Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.
Matthew 28:9, And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
Jesus never rejected worship from His followers because Jesus knew He was God, so Muhammed lied in the Koran, Sura 5:116, when he added words to Jesus mouth which he never could say.
[ b ] Also, Jesus DOES know what is in the heart of God the Father as we see here:
Bible, John 10:30, (Jesus said) I and my Father are one. And in another place:
John 17:25, O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee...
Matthew 11:27, All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
John 10:15, As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
You can see that Jesus knew the Father's heart just as well as the Father knew Jesus' heart. So Muhammed lied when he said Jesus did not
Page 47
know God's heart. Also, Muhammed again added to the Bible when he lied, so he must go to Hell as we saw previously in Revelation 22:18-19.
[ c ] Jesus would not teach that God could forgive those who add to, or take away from, his Word, when we read that God had already condemned them in Revelation 22.
We will now compare some texts to see further contradictions between the Bible and the Koran. Remember, the Bible was written long before the Koran, so it is the standard by which we measure the accuracy of the Koran which arrived almost 600 years after the Bible was closed:
__________Begin Sub-topic__________
Al Koran, Sura 3:50, Jesus is supposedly speaking to Muhammed: (I have come to you) "to attest (give witness to) the Law which was before me..." So, Muhammed claims that Jesus existed some time AFTER the Torah law of Moses was in existence.
Al Koran, Sura 2:133, Were ye witnesses when Death appeared before Jacob? Behold, he said unto his sons: "What will ye worship after me?" They said: "We shall worship thy God and the God of thy fathers, Of Abraham, Isma'il and Isaac, the one true God..."
Koran, Sura 26:192-199, (Speaking of the Koran and revelation given to Muhammed) And lo! it is a revelation of the Lord of the Worlds, Which the True Spirit hath brought down upon thy heart, that thou mayest be (one) of the warners, in plain Arabic speech. And lo! it is in the Scriptures of the men of old. Is it not a token for them that the doctors of the Children of Israel know it? And if we had revealed it unto one of any other nation than the Arabs, and he had read it unto them, they would not have believed it.
The message is very clear, revelation is given in Arabic because it cannot be understood in any other language. The Koran is printed in English by the millions with petro-dollars from the United Arab Emirates. Why? If these Sheiks really believed the Koran, they would only print it in Arabic!
John 1:1-4, In the beginning (before the creation of the earth) was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word (Jesus
Page 48
Christ) was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. (Parenthetic words are mine and not inspired of God.)
So, we see that the whole truth is IN the Person of The Lord Jesus Christ who was from eternity past! Either the Koran or the Bible is lying. You cannot respect them both as Muhammed claimed.
Nowhere in the Bible is death given personality (Sura 2:133 above). It is the consequence of sin. Muhammed got this notion from the Nabataean Christian heretics in the area near Mecca. Nor does the Bible give Ishmael in the list of Jewish patriarchs. Ishmael cannot be a Jewish Patriarch and an Arab at the same time.
Bible, II Timothy 3:16-17, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
The "scripture" which the Apostle Paul is speaking of is the Old Testament of the Bible. It was written in Hebrew and Aramaic. Paul wrote this text in Greek, and Jesus quoted the Old Testament in Greek during His ministry. Why didn't Jesus and Paul speak in Arabic if it is the only language in which people really understand the truth?
__________End Sub-topic__________
So, we see that the Koran arrogantly contradicts the Bible, it adds to the Bible, and it claims that the Bible cannot be understood. Dear reader, especially my Muslim friend, you must decide. You cannot have both the Koran and the Bible. The Mullahs are hypocrites when they quote the Bible to try to prove the Koran is true. They should abandon the Bible if they really believe the Koran. The fact that they study the Bible and pick out bits and pieces of it to use to their advantage shows that these Mullahs really don't agree with the Koran and Muhammed. Why should you?
You Christian "missionaries" who claim God leads you to start with the Koran and go to the Bible, when you give the Gospel, you are nothing but blasphemers. You should go back and read the warning again in Revelation 22:18-19. So, you found the names of Jesus and Mary in the Koran? So what? You can find a penny in a mud puddle too, but that doesn't mean that the mud puddle is a bank! We again compare the scriptures of Islam with the Bible of Christians. How does Islam compare to Bible Christianity in its zeal for study of the scriptures?

STUDY THE SCRIPTURES
Al Hadis, Bk. 1, Sec 3, Chap. 4, no. 55 and 57, Ibn Abbas reported that the messenger of Allah Said: "Whoever so interprets the Quran according to his opinion, let him seek his abode in the fire (hell). And in a narration: 'Whoso interprets the Quran without knowledge, let him seek his abode in the fire (hell)" Attested by Tirmizi
Same text, No. 57, Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah said: "Dispute about the Quran is infidelity" Attested by Ahmed, Abu Daud.
It is very clear that a Muslim must never try to interpret the Koran. He must read, recite, and chant it as part of his duty to Allah, (FOOTNOTE 6: 57 / 61 / 1700 The word Koran means "recitation", not, understand!) but he dare not think about it too hard, and he dare not form a strong opinion as to the teaching in the Koran. Why? If he ends up unconsciously disagreeing with Allah on some meaning, or if he finds himself at odds with some Mullah, he is damned to Hell forever.
This is why you never heard of a "Koran Study" like Christians have "Bible Study." Ironically, while this teaching is usually obeyed, you can buy Korans with special numberings in the margins which are used for divination, or fortune telling, called "fal," in which they "cut the Koran," by flopping it open randomly, to tell the future. (FOOTNOTE 7: 226 / 224 / 164) That is not called a sin though by the Imams!

Al Hadis, Book 3, Chap. 36, No. 61- Abu Harairah reported the Messenger of Allah said: 'He who does not chant the Koran (vain repetition) is not of us.' Attested by Bukhari.
Bible, II Timothy 2:15 2, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
We see that the Bible encourages or commands study of its truths. This is where the Koran falls down every time. In the 1930's Samuel Zwemmer told of going to the Mosque of Omar in Jerusalem to
Page 50
visit. The Sheik in charge found out Samuel could speak fluent Arabic, so he invited him into his office in the mosque. Samuel asked the Sheik if he had a copy of the Bible, and the Sheik pulled a Bible out of a niche in the wall. The two men sat for several hours and studied the Bible. The Sheik could not do this with the Koran at peril of Hell fire. But, in the second most sacred shrine of Islam, the Light of the world was shining into his heart and mind during a "Bible study." (FOOTNOTE 8: 217 / 257 / 697)
Bible, Isaiah 1:18, Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
The God of the Bible invites you to reason. You are told you will be guided into truth by the Spirit of God. The Bible is not so vulnerable that a man who reads it and misinterprets it will do the Bible any damage. He may miss the truth, but the Bible is safe. This is not so with the Koran which is very vulnerable to damage by anything but reading it.
__________End Sub-topic__________
So, we learn three important things about the Koran and the Bible:
1. The Bible is not confirmed by the Koran. Rather; the two disagree many, many times. I have only given a few examples. We also see that Muhammed disagreed with the Bible in his Hadith or sayings.
2. The Koran is open to your mouth to recite it, but it is closed to your reasoning mind lest you should interpret it incorrectly and go to Hell.
3. The Bible is preserved by God in many languages, and it is not the private property of Arabs, Jews, Americans, or anyone else. Read it, think about it, decide what God is saying to you in the Bible, and feel free to disagree with me. The Bible is quite safe in spite of us.
But, the Bible demands more submission than the Koran! Why? Answer: A man is far more responsible for what is in his mind than what rolls around his tongue without understanding. You may take a juicy bite of roast lamb into your mouth, but you are not committed to it until you swallow, right? If ignorance is safe, then the Koran is safe, but beware-- ignorance will damn you. Listen:
Bible, Proverbs 29:18 and 20, Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? there is more hope of a fool than of him.
Page 51
Remember, according to the Bible, mere recitations of the Koran give no hope, and Solomon wrote the above text 1600 years before the Koran was written. "Vision" comes from the Bible. Dear Muslim friend, get yourself a Bible, then bow your head before God, and ask him for vision to see and understand the truth. He will give it to you as you read the Bible.
