On pages 157-58 of the bio *Rising to the Stars*, it states, and I quote... "Generally, however, Ewan had no interest in self-promotion, especially on television, claiming that when American acting legend Robert DeNiro appeared on David Letterman's late-night talk show on CBS in the United States, so would he." Well, guess what??? Robert DeNiro will be on David Letterman's late-night talk show on CBS in the United States this week! Ewan would probably think this pretty funny, but I seriously doubt that he would go on Letterman. He was using a figure of speech and probably figured that it would never happen. Anyway if anyone wants to give Ewan a good chuckle, she can send DeNiro's appearance to him. Who knows, he may even do it. This of course would work to my advantage since I live about an hour away from where Letterman is made. If only we could get Ewan down here... IP: Logged |

I thought I saw Ewan on either Letterman or Leno....He was promoting ALLO,,, and they showed the scene where Robert is in Mr.Neville's office and the guards attack him and he grabs the gun.... It ended when he shot it while still under the pile...He wasn't dressed too well and his hair was a mess... but this was before I fell for him... does anyone else remember seeing it??????
