He plays a rapist indeed, named David Armstrong. Kavanagh is his lawyer, believing that he is innocent and is defending him in a brilliant way. While watching the episode, you believe yourself that David is innocent, being encouraged by that woman. But later on, when Kavangagh has defended him successfully, it turns out that David isn't the innocent boy he pretended to be. Scary ending!

Awww, shucks... thanks, fiasco! I just love the guy, what can I say?

I even took down the two pics I had on my site of him and his little girl when Alyse said Ewan didn't like pics of his daughter online. I figured those pics were so old that Ewan's wee lady would be unrecognizable by now (she just turned 4 and those pics were taken at least 3 years ago). I just thought they were sweet, a loving dad and his daughter.

Oh, god, yes... after watching it myself, I am now sincerely convinced that Ewan could murder someone, be caught red handed and yet still get off (pardon the pun) scott-free... he's just so talented! That scene where he breaks down whilst being cross-examined by the prosecutor... wow... just, wow.

I found myself thinking, while I watched it, "Well, so and so told me that his character did in fact rape this character..." but when he was on the witness stand giving his testimony, my train of thought shifted to, "No way... he didn't do it! There's no way in hell he could have done it!"

Something else that thoroughly creeped me out - the name of the woman (the character's name) that Ewan's character rapes is Evelyn, but in the court scene, he gets flustered and says, "Eve, tell them I didn't do it...!!" And, as most of you know, Ewan first met his future wife, Eve, while shooting that show... *shiver*
