WELCOME TO  ELBERETH'S FANTASY WORLD!

Hello, minna!
When I started this site, a
little more than 4 1/2 years ago, most people had never even heard about manga and anime or else thought about them as violent, shallow and silly. I wanted to show that anime and manga are forms of artistic and social manifestation on their own and that there is much more to them than big eyes, punches e blood.

Now the situation has changed completely. Manga and anime belong to everyday life on TV, comic stores and internet and everybody that was ready to let go of their prejudices has already done so (or will never do it). Thus, I deem my task completed and it makes no sense in keeping pages that have content that is outdated to a certain extent.

That means that I will only keep some pages up on this site and I am not going to update anymore. I'm keeping the pages about drawing, androgyny and about the first Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X OVA, that I think are still relevant enough to remain here, and the pages about Sailor Moon and about women in the manga Blade of the Immortal, as well as the Eye Candy Typology, because I think there are still too few pages about manga/anime from a feminine point of view. The existing reviews of manga/anime/books will also remain, since they represent my own thoughts and feelings about them, but I will not be adding any new ones.

I would like to thank all of you again for your attention throughout all these years and to wish all the otaku community a long, prosperous life! Sayonara!
