Materials needed:
One plastic gallon jug
Outdoor orange and black paint
Black garbage bag
Wooden garden stake
Staple gun
Paintbrush
Strip of plastic or twine to tie at neck

1.  Cut two slits on each side of the top opening of the plastic jug to facilitate insertion of the garden stake.

2.  Paint the plastic gallon jug with orange paint.  You might want to try other colors such as yellow or green.  Allow paint to dry.

3.  Turn the jug so that the opening is pointing downward.  Paint a spooky goblin face on the side of the jug opposite to the side that has the handle using the black paint.  Allow the paint to dry.

4.  Insert the garden stake into the jug.  Staple the jug securely to the garden stake.

5.  Partially cover the head of the goblin with a black garbage bag to make a hood.  Allow the excess bag to hang down to form a cape.  Staple the bag securely in place.  Tie at the neck.

6.  Place the goblin in your outdoor garden.
