Materials needed:
One recycled flowerpot
Florist foam
Branches trimmed from your fall garden clean-up
Halloween cutouts
Scissors
Fun foam and construction paper
Acrylic paint: green, white, and black

Spools or corks to use for neck bolts

Hot glue gun

Googol eyes

Garden straw or raffia

1.  Wash and dry the flowerpot.  Paint the flowerpot green.  Let dry.

2.  Hold the pot opening side up.  Paint a Frankenstein face and hair.  Glue on neck bolts (We made ours by recycling plastic pieces from an old game).

3.  Dab branches with a little white paint to make them look spooky.

4.  Using fun foam, construction papers, and other trims, make an assortment of bats, pumpkins, ghosts, webs, spiders, and other creepy things and critters to decorate the branches.

5.  Fill the flowerpot with florist foam. Insert branches into the foam.

6.  Glue the Halloween decorations to the branches.  Cover the base of the branches with straw or raffia.  Happy Halloween from the Crafty Gardeners 4-H Club!
