He rushed on Sunday 16/10/05 the globe Amsat + Turma of the Silver, we share an adventure very motivante.

Motives of The Silver, City Bell, Zarate, Neuquén, Castelar, Pilar, Escobar, Federal Capital, etc, but of 40 radioaficionados and 12 motives in noisy caravan gave ourselves appointment in Chapel of the Mr. that received us with a splendid day. Already during the trip and from 6 in the morning you arms a pileup in 40mts and in 2mts. There was continuous information of the activity, and but of 150 anxious LU/LW/PY/CX participating, attentive and sharing the frequencies.

A true party, and an astonishment for us seeing as

the Turma of the Silver armed all the elements carefully for the launching, the impressive globe began to take life and it forms. The buoy of CWwas already operating and I occupy its place, prompt to visit the heights and to make hear its voice. It was a bustle in the handies field receiving it. But below there is invalorables pictures of this first experience. But this time could not be, below it follows a sense and I specify story of Gabriel, the creator and leader of the Turma, of like they were going the things. The push and the desires of the Turma were impressive, a second globe you prepares and you rushes, and he returned to relanzar. This time neither I accompany us the it avoids luck.

It is remarkable the push and the force of the group of Turmeros, coarse with reading the objectives and plans that Gabriel, and Amsat mentions of course to the side and making what is required. We go soon to give news and have a second opportunity.

Amsat wants to thank the presence of who you/they accompanied us that you/they were taken there same a certificate of reception of the buoy. He also wants to thank the whole support, and the many and positive received mail. He gives pleasure to see that we have a radioaficion with desires of making, to help and to continue ahead. It is this way easy to make among all and to achieve the future that we deserve the Argentinean radioaficionados.

A strong hug, and thank you to be and to continue with force and optimism. (73, Amsat Argentina www.amsat.org.ar ).

BAD NEWS. - you know like this of the Turma of the Silver works, we try permanently to pass the received experience so that others don't make the same errors or at least have the knowledge that we go acquiring with the practice. This is this way since we begin our activity, he doesn't make a lot, and yesterday he memorized much once again. Yesterday Sunday it was beginning to dawn and we were already in the field. Before the reining calm the group armed very quickly everything, since they were previous and carefully planned the steps to continue and they knew that to make. It is impossible to know as much as the calm can last and there is not time to lose.

When the globe was already lit and in the guide it began to ventar but in gusts what gave the illusion that we could finish the ease. The gusts were every time but strong and really in that moment I didn't realize to cancel the ease, to lower the globe and to turn off it. As they can see in the pictures, the wind compressed the cover expelling of its interior the hot air and offering the mouth bowed toward the wind allowing the entrance of cold air. The aerostatic force diminished with each embate and the globe you taenia that to rearm when coming the calm losing that valuable time. He will never be able to elevate the flag because it stops when it returned the force the next gust it began. The globe taenia a single central guide what allowed to control it very well but it overcame the one it limits of the acceptable thing. He lit up fire the cover. To the while the wind was of 25 km/h and they shook the branches of you hoist them. The election of the mold is also a decisive factor when climatic guarantees are not had. Molds with wide mouth and generous space in their throat help, don't doubt it.

Many know like it is this. For those that we have already burned some how many globes it is a strange sensation, of fight because you burns but also of well-being for the learned experience and in that moment one wants to leave running for the bancada to apply it.

The globe thinks it make again, but more good, more sure, prettier, what takes, take they help me or nr. That that if lament a lot, very much, it is for people of AMSAT that was very built up hopes with following the globe. In the pictures they can see the buoy hanging of the globe and transmitting.

The buoy you could have risen with similar results to the turn of the bancada and with a box of 64 leaves of black color, any day at noon and with total comfort, but the idea was to send the buoy with deluxe transport. This time, it could not be.

I send them a great hug. (Gabriel Krasnoposlky, Turma of the Silver, Buenos Aires, Argentina).

AGREEMENT AND DEVELOPMENTS DE AMSAT. - Roberto Dhios, leader of development of the LUSAC, presented the software development RTMOS (operating system to modulate of real time) that took our satellite on board. It is interesting to highlight the interest of the assistants manifested in abundant questions, since this software this inside the platform GNU of free software, that will make available all their code for who requests it. This material was presented this year in the event bianual of the Association Argentina of Space Technology in Córdoba. The interest was of such a magnitude that there is already but arisen collaborators of this meeting to be part of the project. LU2AMW, Nestor made delivery of the certificate from AMSAT to Tito, LU7EE, President of the RC City Bell recognizing the developed work. It followed a presentation then for LU7ABF, Pedro on details of the international space station, and all the current developments in AMSAT Argentina, from the LUSAC, going by the VOXSAT, the LUSAC, transponders, buoys of CW, Modems integrated in PICs, geographical localizadores for VOR, activities and developments of the high-speed group (HSG), projects Globe together with associations like the Turma of the Silver, the multiple agreements with Universities, Associations, the CONAE, Retina, etc. Result of this already has but integral that sink to these developments arisen in the meeting. Each one of the assistants to the meeting you takes their certificate of attendance, signed and sealed by authorities of the RC City Bell and of AMSAT Argentina. We want to thank the presence of LU4DXT especially, Hugo who I develop the controller of the buoy of CW of the LUSAT and of LU3DJD, Jorge Topich partner founder of Amsat. (Tnx AMSAT Argentina).

QSL DE FO0/F8UFT - FO5RN is informing that before November 10 he will be answering all the applications that he has for via direct for that activity and other activities carried out in islands of the Ocean Pacific, because it is to receive the printed cards. (tnx Maurice, F5NQL).

9AA7YY don't HAVE QSL MANAGER Branko he informs. The applications of QSL should be sent via desk or direct at 9A7YY.

QSL FOR ER4DX should be requested ER4DX now directly Vasily Romanyuk, P.O. Box 1662, MD 2044 Chishinau, Moldova. He is informing that UT4ND is no longer its Qsl mánager.

COMMENTS AND ADVICE for the competition CQ WW DX of SSB, by EA5DFV (José Miguel). - Many radioaficionados outside of our frontiers says that a good parameter to determine the health of the radioafición in a country is to examine its participation in the big international competitions. I agree with that, although, I don't consider that it is the only one, by no means. They approach the biggest, the CQ WW DX of SSB and of CW and at least in that section, in that of the participation, we should make an important effort all.  This year we will surely face a very important participation on the part of our colleagues of the neighboring countries that have acquired new privileges in the bands of HF, and that already, some of those that participate in competitions of international HF, have verified that they were desirous of to compete in this facet and to make it very well. For sure the lists of competitors will increase and with good results some of the entities of the next DXCC to us and those which up to now, we beat or we equaled in participation.

The sport radio, like a facet more than the radioafición, is not very different from other sports and it can be practiced, as any other sport activity, in many different ways: one can try to be in the elite, competing with the best available means and with an almost professional dedication, and one can, also, to simply make sport to stay in form, or to have a good time the weekend with the friends. You can compete in the best teams or to play "partidillos" the weekends. In anyone of the cases, the interesting thing is to participate in an activity that he has a good time us and it attracts us. In the last years he has left seeing a bigger participation of stations EA in teams multi-operador/un single transmitter (MS). it is a very attractive and amusing category that allows to banish the myth that our liking is a solitary liking. In these cases, the competition is a very good occasion for, besides preparing a station a little more competitive than those of each one in an individual way, of having occasion to talk much of radio in the moments in that it is not operated, and to enjoy a good while with the good friends… and to encourage the contact with a good one "multiplier" as if a has put a goal or a basket of 3 points. In a competition in team, the problems are less "problems" since there are more people to solve them and it goes a long way less the depression before the bad propagation conditions. The MS (it multi-sails) it allows in turn to form new people that is interested in being formed in the world of the sport radio, giving him minutes of operation and explaining to him the different facets of the game. It is also a category that allows to expand to others as the M2 (multi-two, multioperadores and two transmitters) and to MM (multi-multi, multioperador multitransmisor) as practice is acquired and he has more trained operators.

If even so, we don't have the capacity or we don't meet with spirits to organize a participation multi-operator or we simply like more to operate alone, but we would like to add our grain of sand to a collective effort, in these competitions, the CQ WW DX of SSB and of CW, as well as in many other, they exist in the bases, the possibility to participate individually but like part of a team, in two different modalities:

 1. - competition for club: He understands each other as club, a club "local" and don't unite national organization. This limited one to the members that are located in an area with a radius of 275 km. from the center of the area of the club, although it also allows to add the points of the operators of the club that you/they carry out a certain expedition of DX. Usually in this category they participate big clubs, with hundreds of operators, as the FRC (Frankfurt Radiates Club), the YCCC (Yankee Clipper Contest Club) or in Europe the BCC (Bavarian Contest Club). they are very organized clubs that compete adding hundreds of millions of points. To participate in this category it is very important to make consist the club to which is belonged when sending the lists. In EA we don't prepare that I know, of a club of these characteristics.

2. - competition for team: In fact, according to the bases, it is a category more, the D. AND I believe that it is a category that we don't give him the importance that deserves and I believe that it can end up at the same time being very competitive that very amusing. A team consists of five operators, any that you/they will participate as SO (sail-operator, monooperador). AND they participate in the category SO all them and each one can only be in a team. When receiving their lists, their points sink. To create an alone team it is necessary to send the list of the indicative ones before the beginning from the competition to the organizers, by mail or for fax. Nothing else simple.  This competition adds the incentive of the participation in team to the individual operation, at the same time that he puts under an obligation, as all participation in team, to carry out an operation a little more "serious."

Another aspect that goes to make important this year, and maybe the next ones, the participation and the participation in team, it is the drop propagation with which we will be in the high bands (15 and 10 meters) due to being in the low part of the solar cycle. In these cases, we usually fall in the apathy of not participating since it will be difficult to find those easy DX that we can like or in the laziness of using our station for the most part in the low bands, where we will be less competitive. But on the other hand, let us don't forget that if we increase our participation, we won't care so much the one that the propagation this wrong, because we will be able to continue finding people calling and calling us. The competition multi-operator will allow us to obtain a more competitive station in the low bands and to support with more comfort the moments of low propagation.

He made a reference at the beginning about the importance of the quantity of operators, but I believe that another very important factor when judging the "health" of the radioafición of a country it is, clearing is, the quality of its operators. And if many of them participate in an international competition, that it is a very good moment to judge it. Let us put the best in our operative methods in the competition, so that we attract our correspondents for the form in that we operate and for the quality of the sign that we radiate, and for our ability of he listens. As always, let us read the bases attentively and let us try to complete them in all their terms:

to) If we use more than 150 watts, let us send our list as "high power."

b) If we use the cluster, let us send the list like "attended"

c) If we use more than 5 watts, we cannot send the list like QRP

d) we Send the lists it more correctly possible.

And let us banish the practices that can classify us as "bad operators":

to) to Call with part of the indicative one.

b) to Use the cluster for autoanunciarse.

c) to Overexcite the amplifier.

d) to Use too much compression in the voice in the case of SSB.

And let us adopt those practices that provide us prestige and personal satisfaction:

to) to Be respectful with the band plans and the segments assigned for competitions.

b) to Respect the frequencies occupied by that people that is not participating in the competition.

c) to Be cordial in all moment, even in case our correspondent is interested in some non pertinent information to the competition. We will lose some seconds, or some contact, but we will possibly win an assiduous contact more the next competitions.

d) we Listen in those pound-ups. Not to be a competition rules different to the contacts of DX they are applied.

We listen to ourselves there outside.
