James Dean's Last Gas with mechanic Rolf Wuetherich as passenger, Dean took US 101 from Hollywood and exited on Ventura Blvd. He filled up at this gas station at Beverly Glen. A famous picture shows his Porsche sitting just in front of where the Cadillac is in this picture.
