God sent to me an angel.
It had a broken wing.
I bent my head and wondered,
"How God could do such a thing?"
When I asked the Father
why He sent this child to me,
the answer was forthcoming,
He said, "Listen and you'll see.
My children are all precious,
and none is like the rest.
Each one to Me is special
and the least is as the best.
I send each one from Heaven
and I place it in the care
of those who know My mercy,
those with love to spare.
Sometimes I take them back again.
Sometimes I let them stay.
No matter what may happen,
I am never far away.
So if you find an angel
and you don't know what to do,
remember, I am with you.
Love is all I ask of you."

~Guardian Angels~
When Angels sense you need them
And Angels always do
They come, unseen, from everywhere
To help and comfort you.
They hover close beside you
Till all your cares are gone
Till they can see you're ready
Once again to carry on.
Then some of them may fly away
And take their gentle touch
To other hearts that need
The love of Angels very much.
But one, at least, stays with you
As your constant friend and guide,
For GUARDIAN ANGELS never leave

~The Little Girl~
There was this lil' girl one day sitting in the park. Everyone passed and never stopped to see why she looked so sad. Dressed in a worn pink dress, bare foot and dirty, the girl just sat and watched the people go by. She never tried to speak, she never said a word. Many people passed, but never did one person stop. Just so happens the next day I decided to go back to the park, in curiosity of if the lil' girl would still be there. Right in the very spot as she was yesterday she sat perched on high, with the saddest look in her eyes. Today I was to make my own move and walk over to the lil' girl. For as we all know a park full of strange people is not a place for young children to play alone. As I got closer I could see the back of the lil' girl's dress was obscenely shaped. I figured that was a reason the people just passed by and made no effort to help. As I got closer the lil' girl slightly lowered her eyes to avoid my intent stare. As I approached her, I could see the obscene shape of her back more clearly. Grotesquely shaped in a humped over form. I smiled to let her know it was ok, I was there to help, to talk. I sat down beside her and opened with a simple Hello. The lil' girl acted shocked and stammered a hi after a long stare into my eyes. I smiled and she shyly smiled back. We talked till darkness fell and the park was completely empty. Everyone was gone and we at once were alone. I asked the girl why she was so sad. The lil' girl looked at me and with a sad face said "Because I'm different." I immediately said "that you are!" and smiled. The lil' girl acted even sadder, she said, "I know." "Lil' girl," I said, "you remind me of an angel, sweet and innocent." She looked at me and smiled, slowly she stood to her feet, and said. "Really?". "Yes, ma'am, you're like a lil' guardian angel sent to watch over all those people walking by." She shook her head yes and smiled. With that she spread her wings and said, "I am, I'm your guardian angel," with a twinkle in her eye. I was speechless, sure I was seeing things. She said, "For once you thought of someone other than yourself, my job here is done." Immediately I stood to my feet and said, "Wait, so why did no one stop to help an angel?". She looked at me and smiled, "You're the only one that could see me, you believe it's in your heart." And she was gone.
And with that my life was changed dramatically. So, When you think you're all you have, remember, your angel is always watching over you.

~Angels Among Us~
I was walking home from school on a cold winter day.
It was getting late, and I was scared and alone.
But then a kind old man took my hand and led me home.
Mama couldn't see him, but he was standing there;
And I knew in my heart, he was the answer to my prayers.
Oh I believe there are angels among us.
Sent down to us from somewhere up above.
They come to you and me in our darkest hours.
To show us how to live, to teach us how to give,
To guide us with a light of love.
When life held troubled times, and had me down on my knees,
There's always been someone there to come along and comfort me.
A kind word from a stranger, to lend a helping hand.
A phone call from a friend, just to say I understand.
And ain't it kind of funny that at the dark end of the road,
Someone lights the way with just a single ray of hope?
Oh, I believe there are angels among us.

~I've Seen An Angel~
I sat amongst the rubble of a life that seemed unfair,
I felt my spirit fleeing to a pit of great despair.
Then an angel softly called with a voice so fair and sweet,
She asked me of my sadness and the cause of my defeat.
'Twas difficult to answer but the voice was very kind,
And patiently she waited 'til my problems I outlined.
An understanding wisdom she sought gently to impart,
With sweet words of sympathy she began to reach my heart.
The loving angel touched me as she wiped away a tear,
And in that very moment divine music I could hear.
Raising my eyes to see her I looked full upon her face,
Melancholy clouds dispersed, leaving not a single trace.
The luster of purest gold had been borrowed for her hair,
scintillation of the stars is also revealed there.
Residing in laughing eyes is the sparkle from a brook,
My thumping heart was melting as she proffered me a look.
I've seen glorious sunsets, oranges, purples, pinks and reds,
Lovely flowers in gardens, mountain lakes and river beds.
But now I've seen an angel; all the others I would trade.
In the beauty of her grace, they simply start to fade.
I do not know the future, but this prayer I've now begun:
Would this angel be with me 'til my life on earth is done?

~If You Could See Me Now~
If you could see me now, I spread my wings and fly,
I watch the ones below me, I'm an angel in the sky.
God brought me to heavenwhen it was my time to go,
He held my hand through the light; I wanted you to know.
If you could see me now, I'm flying up above,
I'm happy forever after, eternity full of love.
I'm going to see you again someday, it's time that keeps us apart,
But it's going to take more than love to ask God into your heart.

He smiled and said, "You're home, child" and carried me away.
I told you of His love and how it would always be,
Endless and eternal, I promise you will see.
If you could see me now, watching down below,
I smile and say, "I love you", I just felt that you should know.
So when you enter heaven, expect happiness in every way,
But remember, always be ready, because today might be your day.
