 GOADSTONE POND  Goadstone Pond lies below Sharpitor, slightly to the east of the Dousland to Pricetown road (B3212). Dartmoor ponies frequently gather at this spot, especially in the summer, because although the pool is shallow it is seldom dry. This picture is proof that the camera does lie - the pool is much smaller than it looks and so are the ponies!
