 DARKMOOR IN THE LIGHT  This is the view from Combestone Tor looking towards the valley of the River Dart (upstream) and over to the wild country beyond. In the green valley at the centre of the picture lies Dartmeet, where the East and West Dart combine. On an early spring day there is usually an ever changing play of sun and shadow over the hills of Dartmoor (hence the title of this page).
