BURRATOR SUNSET

The sun sinks low over Sheeps Tor on a winter's afternoon. The picture was taken from the slopes of Down Tor looking towards Burrator Reservoir, which gleams in the setting sun. A very similar shot to this can be seen in the film 'Revolution' starring Al Pacino, part of which was filmed at Burrator Reservoir. The movie was a critical and box office failure, helping to account for the demise of Goldcrest Films (which had previously made 'Chariots Of Fire'). The film company's fate was sealed from the moment it employed Drake H3's IAT as an extra for the Battle Of Yorktown sequence. See the hash mag for Run No.116 for further details.
