We want to hear from you!
Contact our Instructor: Alex Kask
Profession: Lawyer
E-mail: tenjin@telus.net (here's the hyperlink) tenjin@telus.net
If you have questions about the following, feel free to contact Mr.
Kask:
-
You're not sure whether you can join the club at a certain time of year
(perhaps because it's late in the semester),
-
You want to know more about the history of Mr. Kask's Jujutsu training
in Japan, who his teacher is, etc.
-
You have some physical challenge that, you think, may affect your ability
to participate in the class.
-
Other issues that, in your opinion, only the chief instructor could explain
or resolve.
Mr. Kask is glad to receive e-mail from prospective students. However,
he's a busy man, so consider writing to the webmasters for many types of
information. You may get a response much faster.
Contact our Webmasters:

-
Almost any question. If George can't answer it, he'll refer you to the
instructor and pass along your message,
-
General info, how to join, fees, schedule, equipment needed, his personal
experience in the class, etc.,
-
Any technical matters related to the website (design, typographical errors),
-
Suggestions about new content for the website (subject to instructor's
approval),
-
Submissions of links and articles (also subject to instructor's approval),
and
-
Complaints about website content (although we hope this shouldn't be
a problem!).
Anne Maloney
Profession: Lawyer
E-mail: annemaloney@hotmail.com (and here's the hyperlink) annemaloney@hotmail.com
Anne, like Alex, is a busy lawyer, so she's generally not able to respond
to e-mail as quickly. But you're welcome to e-mail Anne with questions,
especially about the following:
-
Any special concerns for women thinking about joining the club,
-
How feasible women find the training,
-
Treatment of women in the club (remember - the UBC CJJ welcomes women and
creates a positive environment for women to learn - this is not a men-only
style of club),
-
Other questions that you, for whatever reason, prefer to ask her. Where
necessary or appropriate, she will refer to the instructor for clarification.
Whatever your question, don't be afraid to ASK!
