KNOWN POWERS
FLIGHT
• The suit features dual mode boot jets - they breathe air for flight, but when underwater, silent water impellers engage to provide movement.
• Jet-boots may be used offensively.
REPULSORS
• Repulsor Beam is moderated using pulse and and an early form of adaptive optics. The repulsing effect is limited to the surface of an object. Objects are jolted away from the beam path by the combination of ionized air and the accelerated neutron beam.
• Variable intensity light source: Can be focused for use as a spotlight or fine-focused for use as a laser.

• Mini Under-Sea Torpedoes
• Electrical Field Generator (EFG): The armor can generate an electrical field around the armour - similar to an electric eel.
SENSORS
• Radar, Sonar, Heat Detection, Radio and Infra-Red.
ELECTRONIC COUNTERMEASURES
• Life Support Equipment: The armor protects the wearer from the pressures of the deep sea. It has built in recycling equipment that enables him to stay under water until he needs food (up to 2 days).
• ECM against radar and sonar
• Exo Units on the gauntlets: Long range grapples - jettisoned, they can be shot outward and reeled in. The "hands" are fully articulated, capable of retrieving objects or destroying them
• Inner-Escape Suit: An armour within an armour - it is possile for Iron Man to jettison his outer armored shell in emergencies and shoot to the surface in a smaller backup suit. The Escape Suit has limited capabilities and range. It's armament is limited to the Uni-Beam and the 2 Mini-Torpedoes.
• Ink-Cloud: The armor can release a chemical into the water that generates an inky-black cloud similar to an octopus.
• Claws: Claws that extend from the bottom of the boot to grip onto rocks and coral so that footing is not lost.

History: While all of Iron Man's conventional suits function underwater, they were noisy and on occassion, leaked. Tony Stark designed this Deep Sea suit to handle his undersea missions and to provide a quick response to deep water emergencies. The exact composition of the armour is unknown. It is apparently composed of "flex-metal". This armour was made to be non-collapsable (Unlike other armours) in order to increase it's protection from the pressure of the ocean. The armor is rated at 8,000 lbs./sq. inch, making it capable of traveling to depths of up to three miles.
