Word Revelation
- Explains special revelation
- Since God is so wise, He can accommodate to meet us at our level.
- Words are the way to communicate thoughts
- It is necessary because our greatest need is redemption
- God's command to write- Ex. 24:4, 34:27, Jer. 30:2, 36:2, Rev. 1:11, 19
- puts revealed message into written form
- provides an objective standard
- It gives the message a finality that is befitting its absolute authority
