Benjamin Franklin7 Milks, (Luke6, Jonathan5, Jonathan4, Job3, John2, John1) was born 25 Jan 1835 in Dayton, Cattaraugus Co., NY; died 17 Apr 1904 in Fairbank, Lester Twp., Black Hawk Co., IA.
Note: The above location is rather confusing, Fairbank is located in Buchanan County, and Lester Township is located in Black Hawk County. Benjamin died at his son, Thomas' home (see obit) which was located five miles northwest of Fayette, evidently in Black Hawk County.

Benjamin Franklin7 married Orinda Lawrence daughter of Hiram Lawrence.
Orinda Lawrence was born 3 Sep 1839, in Cattaraugus Co., NY, died 4 July 1928 in Black Hawk Co., IA.
They had the following children:

  • Ida Louise Milks born 27 Mar 1858; died 12 Aug 1947.
  • Butler Webster Milks born 17 Nov 1861; died 27 Mar 1943.
  • Nancy Maria Milks born 10 May 1865; died 15 Aug 1913.
  • Ruth Milks born 15 Jul 1869.
  • Thomas Benjamin Milks born 26 Apr 1875; died 6 Feb 1936.

Thomas Benjamin8 Milks (Benjamin7, Luke6, Jonathan5, Jonathan4, Job3, John2, John1) was born 5 Jan 1875 in Black Hawk Co., IA; he died on 6 Feb 1936 in Waterloo, Black Hawk Co., IA. Thomas is buried at Fairbank Cemetery, Fairbank, Buchanan Co., IA, in the Original section. Thomas married 1)Louise Elizabeth Friedman(n), daughter of Christian Friedman(n) and Bertha Klegin on 26 Apr 1875. Louise was born 28 Jan 1874 and died 1950. Louise is buried next to Thomas in the Original section of Fairbank Cemetery.

Thomas married 2)Minnie Heinemann, daughter of Wilhelm Heinemann and Wilhelmina Suhr, born 28 May 1893 in MN; died 15 Dec 1975 in Waterloo, Black Hawk Co., IA; buried at Garden of Memories in Waterloo, Black Hawk Co., IA. Her final marriage was to Lowell Berry.
Children of Thomas and Minnie are:
  • Charlotte Milks, born 18 Feb 1926; died on 9 May 1984.
  • Donald Milks, born 26 Mar 1927.
  • Victor Kenneth Milks, born 11 Apr 1929.

Charles William9 Milks (Thomas Benjamin8, Benjamin Franklin7, 6 Milk, Jonathan5, Jonathan4, Job3, John2, John1) was born 5 Jan 1897 in Lester Twp, Black Hawk Co., IA, and died 24 April 1931 in Fairbank, Buchanan Co., IA. Charles married Jessie Angeline Miller, daughter of Martin John Miller and Elizabeth Bearbower, on 15 Sep 1915. Jessie was born 23 Sep 1896 in Brandon, Buchanan Co., IA, and died 22 Feb 1954 at Waterloo, Black Hawk Co., IA.
