1. Dying childless, they willed the house & Boathouse at Christmas Cove to my father and his sisters. It was a beautiful place, and I was there on "VJ Day" I went through material being trashed and took home Orville Jenkins Journal, the Harvard 5 Foot Classics, and a schooner under way, rigged and enclosed within a curved "frame" with sky & sea. I kept this 'till William Brown destroyed it in Scituate!
   The boathouse had an upstairs living apartment with double doors from which one might dive into the harbor at high tide. The lower half was a boat building shop, with double doors leading to a ramp. It was full of perhaps 50-100 hand made planes and draw knives in every compound shape imagined! They were discarded!
   The property was lost for taxes in a few years. I sailed up in the 70's with the kids, and it was then worth over $250,000! .

Cotton Flacke was ORIGIN at Saffron Walden, Essex, England. He was baptized on 16 October 1577 at Saffron Walden, Essex, England. He was the son of Thomas Flacke. Cotton Flacke married Dorothy Wright on 1 July 1611 at Saffron Walden, Essex, England. Cotton Flacke immigrated in 1633. He purchased land of PO} on 24 June 1654 at house & 11 a upland, Muddy River, Brookline, MA. He died by 31 Jul 1658.

John Doggett was born by abt 1600. He was the son of (?) Doggett. John Doggett married (?) Brotherton ? before 1626 at England; Watertown / Rehoboth / Marthas Vinyard. John Doggett immigrated in 1630 to Watertown, Middlesex, MA. He was FREEMAN on 18 May 1631 at Watertown, Middlesex, MA. He moved to at Marthas Vinyard, MA, D. He lived on 25 September 1649 at Hamburg, Germany. He married Bathshebath (?) on 29 August 1667 at Plymouth Colony; Plymouth. John Doggett died in 1673.
