How I got started...

My introduction to guinea pigs was neither glamorous nor exciting. I had been looking for a new competitive hobby when the County Fair Premium book arrived. I noticed the cavies listed in the pamphlet and got curious. After that, I did some research, read some books and surfed the net. I was instantly hooked! I soon after found my first piggie and have put one foot in front of the other ever since.

My Background

I have loved animals all my life. I have raised and shown horses and dogs. I have also raised rabbits, goats, rats, gerbils, cats, and fish at different times during my life.
