I BELIEVE |

I am an ordained Christian following a shamanistic path.
I was raised in a mixed religion family. I went to Catholic Mass with my grandfather, to Synagogue with my grandmother, and to Sunday School and Protestant Church with my parents. I have studied several different belief systems and sorted out the similarities. As a result, my beliefs are a combination of many different belief systems, none of which disagree with my belief in G-d, Jesus, and Holy Spirit.
I follow the “Rainbow Path” (a way of personal healing, growth and transformation) which embraces the “Red Road” (the pathway of life, following the lessons of being human, being vulnerable, and seeking wholeness with all that is. It is the pathway to power spiritually by having our beliefs tested.. The power lies in the wisdom and understanding of one's role in the Great Mystery or Great Spirit, and in honoring every living thing as a teacher.)
I believe that Christianity can encompass more than is strictly taught by most forms of organized religion.
I believe that G-d, Great Spirit, Allah, etc., whatever one chooses to call the Supreme Being is the same Being. I believe that G-d is everlasting. “Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art G-d.” (Psalms 90:2) As Pure Power and Energy, G-d is not physical in form and therefore the labels of male and female do not apply.
I believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, Son of the Living G-d and I have accepted Him as my Savior. That He is the Word of G-d made flesh. I believe that “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of G-d, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)
I believe that G-d manifested in different ways to different peoples through the Holy Spirit. That which we call the Holy Bible was G-d’s manifestation to what was to become the Jewish peoples.
I believe all things were made by G-d; and without G-d was not any thing made that was made. (John 1:1-3) I believe that the periods in the Theory of Evolution referred to as rapid development where no fossil records exist to mark that development are actually periods of Creation.
I believe that the Creation “day” was not what we think of as our 24-hour day now. It couldn’t be because “time” was not set in motion for the earth until the fourth “day”. In the Bible, it says “that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”
I believe that everything is related, that all of Creation is One. I believe there is a difference between soul and spirit. A soul is what was endowed us by the Creator allowing us awareness, consciousness of all of the energies within us.
Everything has a spirit. A spirit can be looked at as the energy pulse emitted by something — the energy that links Creation to the Creator. That energy pulse (vibration of Spirit or “God's” Light) resonates with everything else.
I believe that G-d often communicates with us through an intermediary. That intermediary, or angel, can manifest in many forms depending on the message or the need of the recipient. My Guides usually manifest as a Grey Wolf (male) and a White-tailed Deer (female)
G-d is LOVE. (I John 4:8, 16) I believe that the greatest weapon of any Spiritual Warrior is love. Love can change minds; love can forgive; love can let go; love can heal; love can cry; love can get rid of resentments; love can overcome fear. (I John 4:18) Love is the fulfillment of the Law. (Romans 13:10)
I have mixed feelings about this concept, however, I find that it works for most things to “act as if”.
