FELNEYTRON 1032

This was a game I started to make a long time ago, then stopped cause it was rubbish, and I didn’t understand many programming things then, like how to make things appear at random, and also I was making it in the games factory, so groups didn’t work. Anyway, more recently I started to make graphics for a new and improved version, but that one died out too, still it may be finished one day. Anyway, here is a page explaining some of the allies and enemies you would have got to face

Gameplay basics

At a basic level, the game would have played like you'd expect a medievil robotron to, You could move in 4 directions (the enemies may have been able to move in 8 or more, or only some enemies, to make it more challenging) You would have been able to attack with your close-ranged weapon normally, which was enough to kill the weaker enemies in one hit, but only had a short range. But there would also be a Magic bar which would slowly charge up. When you used magic it would drop down to zero again, but the longer you let it charge for, the more powerful magic you could unleash. Also the enemies would have given experience points (like in FF and other games), which would gradually unlock more powerful magical abilities, until you got up to devastating screen-clearing blasts of magic power, but obviously you'd have to wait a while for them to charge up XD. Other features would have been allied characters who could be called in by collecting certain powerups, and would fight the enemy hordes alongside you. Also the allies would have been able to collect their own powerups which would upgrade them into killer units

Players and Allies

Mike- One of the player characters. His close range weapon is a sword, and his magic would have been 'rings', which had a short range, but went all around him, and higher magical levels would have meant larger rings, up to the final level, which could blast the whole screen

Aaron- Another player character, his weapons where claws, and his magic ability is a blue 'wave' which spreads out in front of him, and has a medium range. Higher magical levels would have given larger waves, and also released smaller homing waves

Tina- The final player character, her weapon was a short sword, and her magical power was fireballs which could go across the entire screen, higher magical levels would have been larger fireballs, exploding ones and homing ones

Swordsman- The most basic ally, he attacks people with an old, rusty sword which isnt that powerful, still, good against the weakest enemies when you have a lot of them, but one on his own would be surrounded quickly

Super swordsman- The upgraded swordsman, who would have a much more powerful steel sword, and also armour to take a beating from the enemy forces. He would also be able to use mike's ring magic if he was surrounded

Archer- A better ally, he would have been able to fire arrows in all directions (well, 32) which could take down the weakest enemies in a single hit, if any got close he was able to kick them into submission as well, very handy to have on your side, especially in large numbers

Longbowman- The ultimate ally!, he could fire highly powerful arrows quite quickly, retreat from the enemy and keep firing from a distance, and also had a mean kick. If you where lucky enough to get one you'd have no worries!

Enemies

Ork swordsman- The basic enemy, they move slowly and have rusty old swords which arent that damaging, they would have appeared in large numbers on most levels though, but a few of aarons wave attacks would have sorted that

Ork spearsman- They throw long javelins which can do quite a bit of damage, and move faster, a more dangerous enemy than the swordsman, expecially if you don’t have very high magic levels to take them out from a safe place

Ork crossbowman- They shoot powerful, though short ranged, crossbow bolts in all directions, they reload slowly, so that’s the time to strike!, or get an archer to do it for you..
