Game maker is another free game-creation program which many people see as a 'step up' from RPG maker, when really its completley different XD, its more like a 'step across' from Klik, in some ways its not as good, and in some ways its better. The interface for game maker works in quite a different way to klik, but the idea of "If… then…" conditions is still the same. However in game maker you can also program with it if you have the nessicary skills. Recently a registered version of game maker has appeared which offers things like "in engine" rotation of sprites (like the active picture object in MMF), whereas in the unregistered version you have to provide an image for each rotation of your sprite (and you have to make them yourself too, unlike MMF XD). Don’t let this talk of registered and unregistered put you off though, game maker has no "Trial period", and the unregistered version can still save games as standalone .exe files, and has 95% of the features of the registered version XD

Easy, go to this site: http://www.gamemaker.nl/ and download. You can also register it if you like (15 dollars or 15 euros, one of those amounts is probably less than the other actually XD), the registsred version has some extra features, but you don’t need to register to use the program properly, and it has no expiry date
