Dead or alive, get offa my land! This is my latest DooM project in development, Zombie Shock Massacre!. Based loosely on the comic, it follows the story of a farmer who is caught up in a zombie attack unleashed by a mad scientist doing secret experiments with a mysterious substance. As a doom wad, this will be my first real foray into proper spriting, so far ive made most of a generic 'template' zombie sprite, which i am quite proud of. Its nothing special, and looks like nothing next to the work of Scuba steve, but it will do. Also this will contain lots of EDGE features like different death animations for different weapons, a heavy reliance on dynamic lighting, and the ability to totally alter the weapons used. Most of the weapons in this wad will be melee-only, that means getting up close and personal, for some of the weapons that will be featured, see the comic, but there will be other, and maybe some quite suprising, ones too |
