1:15pm - Drilling operators report problem with the oil, scientists called into to check mysterious chemical

3:30pm - Unidentified illness reported amongst some crew members, doctors insist they can cope

11:32pm - Reports that the illness has spread to almost all of the crew, but appears to be clearing up in the first infected

2:00 - Radio flickers on as if to make contact, but nothing is spoken

9:00 - Daily 'check-in' radio call fails, this is attributed to the heavy storms out at sea

10:42 - Oil pumping from the Rig stops, appears to be due to emergency cutoff

2:12pm - Storms move on, Still no radio contact with Rig. Rescue team is sent out in Sea King helicopter

3:55pm - Sea king helicopter arrives at rig, reports all power seems to be off and nobody is around, rescue team goes to investigate

4:55pm - Rescue team fails to make radio contact, second rescue flight is not sent because darkness is returning and with power off it will be very hard to find Rig

7:00 - Second rescue helicopter is sent to Rig, but is unable to land because of first one sitting on helipad. A dead body of one of the rescue team is spotted on a walkway

10:20 - SAS counter-terrorism squad arrives at Hull, immediatley mobilised in speedboat
