The Dittiles, The Nu-Matix, Dick the Bruiser Band, Val Ventro, Joselyn B and recently The Witchdoctors.
Toured the USA in the mid 80's with the show band, Deep South before coming to Detroit. Dave also works as a audio/video producer for The University of Michigan-Dearborn. |
Jon Martin Jon is absolutely incredible on the 5-string bass. He launches off on his solos like a rocket ship headin' for Mars. His speed and performance style is unmatched in the Motor City. Jon spent the last few years recording with Ellen in their own band, BLUE ROSE before joining the SAXMANIACS. Owner & founder of WAVE RECORDS, Jon toured Europe with DAD & THE BOYZ early on in his career. |

Joe Brugilo Joe plays a hot pink set of TAMA drums. Hot is the word when describing this multi-talented performer. Joe is an old school drummer who plays mean and hard and IN THE POCKET. An exciting drummer to watch, Joe can play the LONG solo and have you standing on your feet about half way through. He does have his light touch and does the jazz thing on tunes like MOONDANCE and HARLEM NOCTURNE. |
Ellen Giacobbi Ellen began singing the blues with her own band, BLIND DOG FULTON before joining BLUE ROSE. Playing around the city at clubs like MEMPHIS SMOKE and 5th AVENUE, she eventually endup up singing lead vocals for THE SAX MANIACS. Ellen plans on recording her own original music that she is co-writing with guitarist, Steve Dansby. |
