The band
was born in 1992, when the guitarrist D'Alia Ivan found
the "Resurrecturis" band in the vein of the
true Doom/Death metal.
After various line-up changes, the vocalist Ansgar Zoschg
and Cris Espen (bass) join the band and with this line-up
"Resurrecturis" put out the first
demotape"My Cross". In the 1993 the band change
the monicker in "Cospectu Mortis".
After that, they realized "Sepolcrum" demo (
1994) and the Cd compilation "Dawn Of Gods"
(1995).
Another line-up change and "Cospectu Mortis"
split out.
So, the guitarrist Ivan D'Alia founded
"Evenfall", with two "freaks"coming
from Brixen, Eric Treffel (Rythm Guitar and B. Vocals),
and Lucas (Keys). The male lead vocals is Mr. Ansgar
Zoschg and the Female Vocals is Tanja.
In 1996 (November) Mortiz Neumer join the band, as new
drummer, coming from the Black metal band Korova (Napalm
Recs.).
The musical inspiration of this band is a mix of various
& introspective influences named, superficially,
Black-Goth Rock. The classical arrangements, expecially
in the guitar lick and piano solos, are more suggestive
and expressive through alchemy and ethereal moody parts.
The lyrics are as a mirror of the various usual life
situation, in particular in the religious and
esoteric-occult spheres... All the EVENFALL ideas are
introspective....
The band represent an explicit way of Occult and
Atmospheric Majestic & Gothic + Evil Black metal for
dreamers..... with a touch of darkness...

that they have an incredible Gothic & Dark
vein with enchanting deutsch female voice. Great
& moody melodies in an incredible recording
session!
