I, Dawn Nichols, was born in Elmira of New York during the year 1965. I learned to crochet at the age of about 9 or so. I of course lost interest until I was a little older and was retaught by my mother. Crocheting is something that binds us together and we spend many an hour talking and dreaming of all the wonderful items we would love to make. I have always been fascinated by all kinds of needle work and love to explore how these things are done in other countries and have been done in the past.
I also enjoy studying music and playing my flute. I'm currently studying jazz and classical music. I also like to draw and write poetry. I enjoy exploring creative outlets and believe that on some level everyone has the ability to be creative.
