The grouping of headstones below show those of the Kelly and
Morgan families. In the foreground is George and Mary Kelly. This is the
George Kelly who lived to be 102 years old. He was born in County Kilkenny,
Ireland. He married Mary Ann Morgan of Port de Grave. They are the two headstones
with the rounded tops dominant in the bottom left of the picture. The two
to the right, that are heart shaped, are those of Caleb and Dinah Morgan.
She was the widowed daughter-in-law of George Kelly. Caleb, I suspect was
a relative of Mary Ann.
To the rightof the picture and to the rear you will see two headstones.
These are in the back corner. These are the graves of Mary Ann (formerly
Coates) and her children. She was married to George's grandson George. I
have not found a grave for him. He may be with his family, if so there is
no marker for him. |
