Procedure of a (slightly mad) scientist.

First i shall put some water in a cup (the amount is irrelevent), the after about half an hour of trying to decipher what the impurities in the water are, i shall drink the water. Within around 6 days (5 or 7 days are OK too) i shall look at the empty cup and wonder "how the hell did the water disappear?"
Scientists for thousands of years have been baffled over the cup/water equation. Even today with the use of electron microscopes and analytical balances no-one has ever found out where the water goes.

There are many theories - of course i will start with the most ridiculous first;

1. i actually drank the water and it passed through my body, like other liquids (apple juice, for instance) do. This theory is so flawed i cannot even begin to state all of the inaccuracies. The main innaccuracy is - if i did drink the water, then why didn't i spontaneously combust?

The second theory is much loved by scientists all over the world.

2. The theory is that the water vaporised to cause mist and the mist floated away and distintegrated into many particle fragments, which evaporated. This led to a form of gamma radiation, which in turn led to a juxtaposition of innumerable amounts of noble gases escaping and fragmenting into one huge ball of electric vapour. The positive ions from the atoms became involved (physically, of course) with a negative cloud and created a lightning strom in the foothills of the Andes mountains.

i, personally agrre with the second theory as it is much more likely. And some say chemistry doesn't make sense... the fools!

i cannot contain my laughter at those who seem to agree with the first theory, -historians, writers and artists are just so simpleminded! only scientists can truly understand the way of the world.
