Tony D'Aveni

Tony D'Aveni's credentials include studies at North Texas State University and two National Endowment for the Arts Study Grants with John McNeil ('94) and Jerry Bergonzi ('95). He has 3 CDs out as a leader ("Winter Wonderland", "Broken Hip" and "Hip Displacement") and can be heard on half a dozen CDs as a sideman. He is also the author of a series of books on jazz trumpet technique (published by Charles Colin), does clinics / workshops, gigs, and teaches improvisation and trumpet out of his home in Paxton, Ma.
