Whilst
on holiday in B.C, in Canada, the stoodents as they were then known
met a local raft guide by the name of Nick Butler. He was so suprised
by the inability of the stoodents to drag themselves out of bed in the
morning.. even when faced with the prospect of paddling all day in the
sun,, that he decided that they should be known as the Slug Bitches.
The stoodents warmed to the idea of this and ever since then the name
stuck. needless to say we still find it incredibly hard getting out
of bed in the morning...
