It wasn't until I started the in-depth studying at the college when I realized, with my location, I could work in either or both provinces.   At the time, I was traveling regularly to Montréal and I had found some resources which could help me study Québec law as well as Ontario law.  I bought the Québec Civil Code and Procedures book and began to read section by section.  Eventually I wanted to update those resources so I found the Code binders and received all the updates up to January 2000.

My current status with Québec Law is 45%.  5% is the purchase of the Forms binder which accompanies the two binders I already have and the remaining 50% would be the Québec Legal Assistant diploma.   Naturally, I can only assume that these tactics I plan on using will work and I won't be trapped with neither but I can only try.

Al be it, I've noticed a lot of lawyers have studied at the University of Ottawa and are practicing in Québec and concidering their and my career revolve around the same topic, why shouldn't it work?   At any rate, I'll continue my private studies until the time is right then I'll be ready at full force.

The following is an actual case I was hoping to win.  All I needed to do was file it and the rest would have fell into place but prescription stopped me from acting.   Take a look at what it was about, I eliminated any reference to the actual respondant because I don't need a lawsuit against me similar to what you are about to see.

I also included references to Case Law citations and quotes I had collected for my case to back up my possible victory.   I think I would have actually won but not necessarily the full amount I was asking for, at least, that is what some people were telling me here.

  1. Declaration
  2. Affidavit of Timothy Gervais
  3. Notice to Respondent
  4. Physical Evidence
  5. Statute and Case Law
