Eilat

kiteboarding:

Eilat is one of the best kiteboarding spots
 in Israel.
Normally having steady north east wind 
and no waves.
Saying all that Eilat is NOT a good 
place to learn your first steps.
but if you can go up wind and you 
don't want waves it's just for you.

There are three places to kiteboard in Eilat.

1. Surf Center beach (Aqua sport beach).
located: north of the Almog nature reserve 
(coral reef).
which mean: if you end up at the reserve 
you'll pay 500 NIS.
kite lunching and landing is hard due to 
the small space.
Surf center club is at the beach and they 
help if you need.
You can store your gear at the club.

2. Hof Ha Dekel (Palm beach).
Located: Eilat south exit before the 
Dolphin reef and the harbor.
Better for beginners wider spaces 
but the wind is not as clean.
No place to leave your gear so you need 
a car or some one at the beach.

3. The North beach.
Located: near the Jordanian border.
The only beach facing south,
for the easterly and westerly winds
