The youngest of our bloodline!

This page will be dedicated to the last three of our children. Not only are they the youngest, but all three of them has lived at home with us since my husband and I got married, which has some unique challenges of it's own!

#7 - Affectionately called "Princess #1". She is a stunningly beautiful young woman with 18 years of life behind her now. She is also her Daddy's little girl! We got married when she was just 16, and she had no idea what to expect. She tried to stay away the first couple of weeks so there wouldn't be any problems. I was beginning to think she was ficticious! Then, one day, it finally happened. She came home. It was akward for awhile, but eventually she let me in. We went from "Dad's wife" to "Karen" to "stepmom" over a short two years. She is very intelligent, even though she doesn't see it herself. She wanted to be a model, but had to have braces. By the time they came off, her priorities had changed. She was in dance in high school. Princess #1 is a very smart, talented young woman that can do anything she puts her mind to. She is self doubting, which for most is not a good thing, but for this one, it just makes her try harder. She is a supervisor at a local glass replacement company. She is extremely responsible and never have I seen her shy away from a challenge. She ... well, I think she will have alot in here about her accomplishments and even dissappointments. This one will go far!

#8 - Fondly refered to as "Male Child". He is my baby. He is 11 years old going on thirty! I really didn't understand that saying untill he got to be about 7. He is ADHD. All that means is he has basically NO attention span and can't sit still at all! Now, honestly, doesn't that sound like a "normal" child! Male Child is very intelligent, sometimes too much so. He is now in the accelerated classes in school and doing pretty well. It's a battle to get him to do his homework, chores, anything that cannot be done on the computer! Yes, every family seems to have one and this is my computer geek!! If I have any problems with my computer, Male Child is always happy to help me figure things out! He is a very giving, caring child. He is also VERY jealous of anyone he has to share Mom with. It was just him and me for a very long time. He is getting used to being part of a family, though. Everything just takes time!

#9 - Did I confuse you when I said Male Child is my baby? There's a reason for that. #9, or Princess #2, if you will, is actually our granddaughter. She is a beautiful 5 year old that has definately enhanced our life! We have been together for three years almost. Her mother was quite young when she had her, and did the best she could. As you can imagine, motherhood is pretty scary when you're 15! I feel in my heart she did the right thing by letting us raise her. I know how hard that decision is to make, and I have nothing but respect for our daughter for doing the right thing! Okay, enough of that! Let's get back to Princess #2! She is in Kindergarden now and thinks she owns the world! She is very affectionate and has a multifaceted personality. She has her whiny moments, usually bedtime, her estatic moments, right after school when telling me about her day, and everything in between! She had a rough start in life. She was born at 25 weeks and weighed 1 pound 9 ounces. Her size at birth was compared to a large cucumber. Couldn't tell it now! She is finally big enough to go on all the rides at Disneyland! That's how she determines if she's "grown up". She is also very giving and compassionate. And, you must know, she rules her school! She has a very comanding personality and has learned to use it to her advantage! Yes, this one is SPOILED!!!
