Freezer is a tyrant and the mastermind behind the Galactic Black Market in planets. He used the Saiya-jins as warriors and planet pest control until he feared that their power would exceed his own. He murdered nearly all of the Saiya-jin people except for a young prince Vegeta, Nappa and Gokus' older brother Raditz. His only intent in keeping them alive was to prove his superiority over their race.
Freeza learns of the dragonballs from Vegetas' scouter and goes to the planet Namek to find them and wish for imortality. It becomes a race between Freezer, Vegeta and Krillin to see who can find them first. Krillin and Gohan come out the winners and a angry Freezer is intent on revenge. Freezer is capable of transforming himself into four different forms, each one more powerful than the last, with the final form being his ultimate. He battles SSJ Goku and loses, and gets blown up along with the planet, except he doesn't die. His father King Cold finds Freezas' almost lifeless torso and has him restored with cybernetics. Still out for revenge, Freezer goes to Earth to destroy it and Goku, but he encounters another SSJ in the Future Trunks. Trunks slices Freezer into tiny bits then destroys his evil father King Cold, thus ending their tyranny.
