I first got this album in 1988 on vinyl and wasn't exactly enthralled upon hearing it. 11 years later nothing has changed. Its somewhat interesting in style, being very technical and thrashy but nothing inspiring. It has a modest production, sounding very abrasive, not all that heavy, and perhaps a bit sloppy. Some tracks are catchy, others totally forgettable and I just keep feeling that it sounds amatuerish. Not that the musicians are inexperienced, they sound more than competent but this album lacks something somewhere. Its kind of a two or three listen affair before its time to shelf it. The CD version has both the band's albums on it but is out-of-print. Don't spend a whole lot on it if you want it for the content. It does make a good collectors item however.
