Albanian secessionist heavily armed forces of KLA attacked Yugoslav army
units in the area of villages Smonica, Korenica and Berjak, northeast of
Djakovica, last night. Yugoslav Army soldiers, Media Centar was reported,
are firing back and the clashes are still underway.
AUGUST 2
Yugoslav army unit, stationed nearby Lake Radonjic, northeast of Djakovica,
was fired by mortars and automatic weapon early in the morning. Groups
of KLA attacked police checkpoints in Josanica and Dusevic villages in
the morning. The attack was made from the direction of Ovcarevo village,
east of Klina, that is considered to be one of the most heavily armed Albanian
extremist stronghold. The police checkpoint nearby Prilip village, on the
Decani - Djakovica road, was attacked by mortars, heavy machine guns and
automatic weapons, at about 10 AM. The fire came from the direction of
Prilip village. The police fired. Two policemen were killed and two others
were wounded in the attack by a heavily armed group of terrorist, members
of KLA against the police checkpoint, near by Prilip village, on the Decani
- Djakovica road, at about 10 AM. The policemen Elvis Suljevic (29) and
Nenad Belosevic (25), who worked at the Pec police station, were killed.
Police reservist Miomir Stojanovic, as well as policeman Ljubisa Maksimovic
from Pec were wounded.
AUGUST 3
The police neutralized Albanian groups of extremist this morning, in Smonica
village, northeast of Djakovica. More than ten armed Albanian extremists
were killed in clashes near by Smonica, the Djakovica. In the last several
months, Smonica has been considered as a place where armed Albanian extremists
have been constantly attacking police patrols and Yugoslav Army vehicles.
The police crashed apart the armed Albanian extremist strongholdsnear by
Jablanica village, west of Klina, afternoon. Two Albanian extremist groups
tried to enter illegally from Republic of Albania into FR Yugoslavia within
the area of "Koznjar" border barracks, northwest of Djakovica at 8 PM.
Three armed Albanians were killed during the clash, while the rest of,
withdrew to the territory of Albania.
AUGUST 4
Police forces neutralized heavily armed groups of Albanians extremistsin
Lausa village, nearby Srbica, in the morning. The police control the whole
region of Lausa and surrounding villages, from where, Albanian extremists
had been attacking police. The Prokuplje District Court brought criminal
charges against 50 Albanians, who were suspected to have intended to join
the armed Albanian extremists as volunteers in Kosovo and Metohija. They
cAMe with the "Fati tours" coach-liner from Switzerland and Slovenia to
Kosovo and Metohija, and they had been stopped at the Podujevo police checkpoint.
They were found with a large AMount of foreign currency. Another group
tried to intrude in FR of Yugoslavia this morning at 4 AM. The group fired
afterbeing warned by the border guards, who also fired back. There were
five armed Albanians killed during theclash. There were no casualties reported
AMong the Yugoslav Army border guards. A larger quantity of weapon and
AMmunition, including a recoiless cannon, then, 60 mortar grenades and
300 hand grenades were confiscated.
AUGUST 5
Albanians from Ramoc village, near by Djakovica, willingly handed over
32 automatic riffles and several mortars They had been given this weapon
earlier by members of KLA. Albanians from RAMoc reported that they handed
over the weapon, because they did not want conflicts, orto belong to any
terrorist or secessionist organization. Villagers of Ramoc are ethnic Albanians
of catholic religion.
AUGUST 8
Citizens of two Albanian villages in Djakovica municipality surrenderedto
the police weapons given by the Albanian separatists. Only in one village,
50 assault rifles, 5 heavy machine-guns and 5 mortars were surrendered
to the police, Djakovica. For the time being, municipal authorities did
not announce nAMes of the villages, because the citizens arestill in danger
of the Albanian separatists, according to the authorities' claims. Groups
of Albanian separatists have been routed in the area of Drenica and Metohija,
and especially in the border villages toward Albania. The groups repeatedly
fired at the police and the Albanian citizens who were returning to their
homes, by snipers andassault rifles. The main goal of these actions was
to prevent the Albanian citizens to return to their villages. However,
the Albanians that had fled their villages are still coming back, according
to the respectivesources. Only in Glogovac, some 3,000 Albanians who had
escaped to the nearby forests because of the armed clashes, cAMe back.
It was repeatedly fired last night by the automatic weapon against. Three
houses, belonging to Simic fAMily, situated at the end of the village the
Serbian houses in Leskovac village, Klina municipality, had been attacked.
No casualties were reported. During the police positions and houses in
the villages of Bica, Drenovcic and Siroko Polje in Klina municipality
came under attack of KLA. The attackers fired by the automatic weapon,
and Police officers Mirko Kojda, Nebojsa Arsic and Petar Kovacevic were
wounded during the attack against a police checkpoint, at about 10 PM,
near theplace called Pobrdje, Decane municipality. They were transported
to the Pec hospital, and according to the doctors' statements, their state
is stable. Police checkpoint in the place called Suka Erecka, near Babaloc
in Decane municipality, was attacked by the automatic weapon and snipers,
at about 11 PM. The attack was executed from the nearby forests. An hour
later, few mortar shells were fired from Beleg village against Decane.
AUGUST 9
Several police checkpoints that protect Decani-Djakovica road wereattacked
by snipers and automatic weapon in the morning. It was repeatedly fired
against the police near Prilep, Erec and Babaloc. The attack was executed
by the groups of Albanian terrorists from the direction of Voksa village,
Decani. District attorney's office in Kosovska Mitrovica have brought criminalcharges
against Ekrem Evdija, Spend Kopriva, Nedzmedin Lausa, MuhAMed Avdija, SAMir
Hotli and AlijaHotli from Kosovska Mitrovica, under suspicion they were
members of "Mujahedin" unit in the KLA. It was quoted in the charges they
had formed "Mujahedin" unit according to the instructions of certain Abdulah
Duhajman, citizen of Saudi Arabia. Mujahedin unit, called "Abu Bekir Sadik",
consisting of Muslim fanatics, was located in the region of Drenica. Its
members wore black uniforms and they were fAMous for their brutality in
the clashes in this part of Kosovo and Metohija. Albanian terrorists killed
four policemen near by Prilip settlement, on the Decani - Djakovica road.
Policeman Zdravomir Bukilic (28), from Decani, worked in police station
in Djakovica, was killed by automatic weapon at about 1:30 PM In the Albanian
terrorist's attack, policemen Zoran Djokic (28), Srdjan Draskovic (31)
and Bojan Kocic (23) worked in police station in Leskovac, were killed.
Policeman Stojan Stojmenovic from Vranje was badly wounded at about 1 PM
near by Dujak village, Decani municipality. He was transported for further
medical treatment in the Belgrade Military Hospital, and his wounds are
not life threatening. Near by Bites village, Djakovica municipality, policeman
Miroslav Petrovic from was badly wounded at about 7:30 AM. He was transported
to the Hospital, where he had been given first aid, and he was transported
to Belgrade for further medical treatment.
AUGUST 10
Three members of terrorist KLA were killed in an armed conflict in Gabrica
village, Dura hAMlet, nearby the Urosevac - Strpce road, at about 5:30
AM when they attacked the police patrol. Policeman Zoran Jovanovic (25),
worked in Podujevo, was killed in conflict with KLA in Bites village, Djakovica
municipality.
AUGUST 11
Yugoslav army border guards prevented an armed group of Albanians to enter
illegally from Yugoslavia to Albania, near by the Deva border post, at
about 1 AM. One of the attackers was killed, and one is wounded. Six policemen
were wounded during the attack of KLA against the police check-points near
Prilep, Rastavica and Glodjani villages, beside Decani - Djakovica road,
in the early afternoon. Police took action of neutralizing snipers and
mortars locations, as well as fortifications of the Albanian extremists.
KLA fired against the police by mortars, from Junik village. The police
have been holding this village in Decane municipality under blockade for
more than a week. Few dozens of mortar shells had been fired against the
police from Junik. The police did not fire back. Krueziu Djemailj (35)
was killed at about 1 AM, in front of his house in Suva Reka. As the eyewitnesses
claim, people in mask uniforms with, KLA insignia,fired against him by
the assault rifles. Members of his fAMily reported the murder to the. Heavy-armed
Albanian extremist groups attacked police positions by mortars and automatic
weapon, near Drenovac village, beside Klina-Pec road, at about 3 PM A policeman
was wounded. Regular bus transportation on Kosovska Mitrovica-Srbica relation,started
working again. Bus transportation on this relation was stopped more than
three months ago, because the Albanianextremists had been attacking police
and civil vehicles, on this section of Kosovska Mitrovica - Pec highway.
Policeman Srecko Garadzic was wounded in Albanian extremists attack made
by mortars not far away from Glodjane in the morning. Village Birac, Suva
reka municipality, was attacked by mortars and automatic weapon. The attack
was made from the direction of Slopusani village.
AUGUST 12
In Muhadzeri HAMlet, Radovan Stepic (39) from Drenovac village was killed,
and Vladimir Stasic from Duga Njiva was wounded and transported to the
Pec Albanian terrorists shot them from an AMbush by automatic weapon while
they were returning from chopping the woods in forest. Albanian extremists
committed many attacks on the police andcivilians alongside the Decane
- Djakovica road in last two days. Policmen Djuro Vabaros and Mile Nikolic
were lightly wounded in the attack against the police near byGlodjane.
Policeman Milen Gasic was wounded near to Erec village, at about 10 AM.
KLA used mortars against police position at Erecka hillock, near to Babaloc,
close to Decani. Albanian terrorists attacked civilians and the police
in one of the Decane's village called Pobrdje. Albanians from Firaj village
handed over weapon, which they had been given in last several months by
members of terrorist KLA, to the polioday. Eight machineguns, several antitank
launchers, many automatic and semi automatic riffles, as well as4000 bullets
were handed over to the police. This is the ninth Albanian village in Djakovica
municipality where citizens handed over weapon toauthorities in last week.
"Elektrokosmet" crews have started to fix long - distance power linethat
supply part of Metohija, Djakovica - Pec section, with electricity. Albanian
extremists have mined ten long - distance power line poles during the last
two days, so this partof Metohija ran out of electricity. The long - distance
power line will be repaired soon as it is assumed. Police took control
of Glodjane village, situated southeast of Decane, at 2:30 PM. This village
was one of the strongest bases of Albanian extremists during the last few
months. The police broke down strong terrorist bases in Glodjane and its
surroundings, from which the terrorists repeatedly attacked police, army
and civilians, along Decani - Djakovica road. During the attacks, five
policemen got killed, as well as two Yugoslav Army soldiers, while more
than ten policemen were lightly or severely wounded. Braking down of the
terrorist base in Glodjane enabled normalization of the traffic on Decani
- Djakovica section. Police positions from which access roads to Junik,
southwest of Decani, are controlled, were attacked by mortars, as well
as during the last three days. The police have been holding Junik under
blockade for ten days already. There have been several hundreds of Albanian
extremists who had refused several calls for surrender. The police did
not fire back. The police have seized large quantity of weapon and AMmunition
duringbreaking down terrorist strongholds of Albanian separatists.
AUGUST 13
There were repeated clashes within various groups of the separatist, KLA
in Junik, during the last few days. According to the Albanian civilian
statements that left Junik, the Albanian extremist group commanders Naim
Maljoku and Naim Tofaj, were wounded during one of the clashes. According
to the respective source, they were wounded while trying to escape from
Junik to Albania, but,during the attempt, the other extremist group did
not let them do so. Maljoku and Tofaj have been medically treated in an
improvised hospital in Tofaj settlement, near Junik. Extremists are shooting
the Albanians from Junik who intend to surrender to the police, Albanian
civilians, that left Junik, declared to the police and municipal authorities.
AUGUST 15
KLA attacked police forces,protecting Decani-Pec road, by automatic weapon
and mortars, early in the morning. The attacks were made from the direction
of Voksa village. The clashes took place in the surrounding of Lodja village,
nearby Pec. The police have been pushing back the attackers from the area
towards nearby forests. Since afternoon, police forces have completely
controlled wide area of Voksa village, southeast from Decane. In the morning,
KLA had attacked police forces that protectthe Djakovica - Decane - Pec
road. The police responded on the attack, and the groups of Albanian extremists
ran away to the nearby forces. Two grenades were launched by an anti-tank
launcher at Yugoslav territory from the Albanian territory, in the area
of Kosare border barrack, northwest of Djakovica, at about midnight. The
incident happened at the spot where an illegal intrusion of the terrorists
and the armAMent was most often attempted to be illegally brought into
Yugoslavia from Albania. Local joint commission was informed about the
incident, but there was no response from the Albanian side.
AUGUST 17
Yugoslav Army border guards noticed a person wearing Albanian Army uniform,
and three children, several dozen meters in the depth of Yugoslav territory,
in the area of Morina border barrack, west of Djakovica, at about 8 AM.
Following the border guards warning the person in uniform returned to Albania
and fired rifle against the Yugoslav soliders. Three children were safely
returned to the territory of Albania, by the border guards. Border guards
estimated that it was an act of testing the possibilities for the infiltration
of terrorist groups. Police officers Dragan Stojanovic and Zoran Anicic
were killed. Dragan Stojanovic, a member of Kursumlija Police Department
was killed during the Albanian extremistattack against the police in Blace
village, Suva Reka municipality. Zoran Anicic, a member of Belgrade Police
Department, was killed in the clash with Albanian extremists inLjubenic
village area, Pec municipality. The police found the bodies of policeman
Srdjan Perovic and reserve police officer Milorad Rajkovic, members of
Pec Police Department, during the field search, in Lodja villageclose to.
Perovic, whose rank was the police captain, and Rajkovic were kidnapped
during the fighting between the police and Albanian extremists in Lodje
village, dated July 6. Perovic's body was found massacred. KLA attacked
the police patrol by sniper rifles, at 12 PM, in Stari Trg village near
by Kosovska. Policeman Nebojsa Boljevic, a member of Kosovska Mitrovica
Police Department was wounded during this attack.
AUGUST 18
Yugoslav border guards, patrolling in the region of Kosare northwest of
Djakovica, cAMe under fire of the automatic weapon, from the direction
of Albania at about 9 AM. Few rifle grenades were also fired. Yugoslav
border guards prevented an attempt of illegal entry of some 20 armed Albanian
extremists from Albania into Yugoslavia, in the region of Gorozup border
barrack, west of Prizren, at about 12 PM. When discovered, the illegal
group was about a kilometer deep in Yugoslav territory. Following theYugoslav
border guards' warning, they fired. During the clash, five members of the
illega lgroup got killed, while the others ran back to Albanian territory.
The Yugoslav border guards captured 10 heavy machine-guns, a recoilless
canon, about 10,000 bullets ofvarious caliber and large AMount of other
military facilities.
AUGUST 19
A group of armed Albanian extremists attacked police patrol in Cerovik
village, nearby Klina, on the road between Cabic and Kijevo villages, at
about 7 AM. During the attack, Sergeant Miroslav Klasnja (35), a traffic
policeman from Belgrade. The patrol was attacked from the AMbush and nearby
houses, by the automatic weapon and hand-launchers. The police forces took
control of Zociste village, nearby Orahovac, afternoon. Following the attack
of Orahovac, July 18., Albanian extremists kidnapped 27 old men and 8 monks
from the local monastery, who were released, thanks to the International
Red Cross. One of the oldest Serbian Orthodox Church monasteries in Kosovo
and Metohija is situated in Zociste. Armed Albanian extremists from the
village attacked police positions in the nearby village, called Velika
Hoca, early in the morning. The police fired back and the Albanian extremists
started retreating towards Opterusa and Retimlje villages. Then the police
took control of Zociste village, and the clashes are underway. During the
attack against Orahovac, July 18., the Albanian extremists kidnapped a
certain number of Serbs from Opterusa and Retimlje villages and took them
away in an unknown direction. During the routine control, a police patrol
was attacked from "VW Golf" car, during the night, between Armed groups
of Albanian extremists made several attacks against the police positions
in Zociste village, near Orahovac. The attacks were executed by automatic
weapon, hand-launchers and mortars. Policeman Goran Vostic, working for
Djakovica police, was wounded during the attack. According to thedoctors'
statements, his state is stable. Policeman Milomir Krvavac was killed in
's Albanian extremists attack against the police forces in Zociste village,
near by Orahovac. Krvavac (33) in Krusevo village, municipality Pljevlja,
was policeman in Djakovica. Albanian extremists shot him by hand launcher
grenade. Policeman Goran Vostic was wounded in the sAMe attack.
AUGUST 21
Policeman reservist Goran Milenkovic (27) was killed at about 11 PM , in
Lapusnik village, in attack on police positions. There was shootings on
police positions by automatic weapon. Deceased Milenkovic was born in Lipljan
(27), and as a reservist, he was assigned in the Lipljan police department
formation.
AUGUST 22
Albanian extremist-armed groups continued attacking the police forces in
Zociste village, Orahovac. The attacks were made from the directions of
Retimlje, Dobrodeljani, SAModreza and Pecani villages. Simultaneously,
Albanian extremists attacked the police positions in Malisevo. Those attacks
were made from the direction of Banje village. Yugoslav Army positions
close to Dulje village on Stimlje - Prizren road, were atatcked by automatic
weapons.
AUGUST 23
Radio journalist Djuro Slavuj and driver Ranko Perinic disappeared two
nights ago. The bodies of Ljatife Koljoli (45) and her daughter Ruse Koljoli
(18) were found near the Suva Reka - Prizren road. They had been killed
by automatic weapon, and they were found with their hands tightened, and
with blinds on their eyes. They had been killed by Albanian extremists,
due to their fAMily's loyalty to authorities. According to the police from
Djakovica and Pec Municipalities information, Albanians handed over 476
pieces of different weapons, that they had been armed forcefully by Albanian
extremists. The police were handed over 46 machine and heavy machine guns,
as well as 20 hand launchers, 9 mortars, 313 grenades, 81 mortar mines
and 455,000 bullets of different caliber. At 8 AM, the police patrol was
attacked near by Stankovce village, close to Komorane, Glogovac municipality.
The attackers fired by automatic weapon and mortars. At 9:30 AM, KLA group
attacked the police patrol and Yugoslav Army unit using automatic weapons
and mortars, near by Careva Cesma village, close to Komorane, on -Pec road.
The attackers shot from the woods on the left side of the road. The police
and Yugoslav Army soldiers fired back and the clash lasted for several
hours. Later on, the attackers ran away. One of the attackers was wounded
and the police transported him to hospital. Police officer Goran Andric
(23) from Belgrade was killed in attacks against the police on the road
- Prizren, near Dulje, Suva Reka, while four policemen were badly wounded.
Andric was killed around 9 AM near Dulje. Also, policeman Dusan Barac was
badly wounded.
AUGUST 24
KLA attacked the police and Yugoslav Army Units in the Komorane surrounding
9 AM by automatic weapon, hand grenade launchers and mortars. KLA attacked
the police and Yugoslav Army positions, using mortars, machine guns and
assault rifles, close to Dulje village, on the road, early in the morning.
The attack was repeated by mortars and automatic weapon at about 2 PM,
and the policeman, Stanislav Drinic and the Prizren Police Station commander
assistant VladislavKrivokapic were badly wounded during the attack. Police
officer Slavoljub Paunovic from Prokuplje was badly wounded in Restane
village, Suva RekA municipality at 6:50 PM. The AMbulance belonging to
Klina Health Center was attacked on the road between Grabanica and Zajmovo
villages, Klina municipality, at 6:40 AM. Men wearing cAMouflage uniforms
with the insignia of KLA shot by assaultrifles against the car. Pren Rapi,
a doctor in Klina Health Center, a driver Mark Dedaj and Imer Morina were
lightly injured, while Rahime Morina, a patient who was transported to
Pec Hospital for kidney-dialysis was not injured.
AUGUST 25
Enver Hoti's car was shot, on the road between Zajmovo and Drenovacvillages,
Klina municipality, yesterday morning. Luckily, all three passen bullet
scattered car stayed uninjured. The attack was made from nearby woods,
where groups of KLA were hiding,according to Klina municipal authorities
information. Yesterday afternoon, Hus Badali's car was shot, on Prizren
- Zur road. The car was shot by 10 assault rifle bullets. The driver was
not injured.
AUGUST 26
Heavily armed groups of Albanian extremists attacked police positionsby
automatic weapon and mortars near by Dulje settlement, on the - Prizren
road, at about 8 PM. Yesterday afternoon policeman Nenad Radojcic from
was heavily wounded in the attack against the police near by Dulje settlement,
on the - Prizren road. He was transported to the Prizren hospital, and
according to the doctors on duty statement, he is out oflife danger. A
police patrol was attacked last night, at about 1 AM, in Banjicavillage,
Kacanik municipality. The police fired back and the attackers ran away.
No policeman was reported wounded. A police patrol was attacked last night,
at about 7 PM, in Rakovinavillage, Djakovica municipality. The coup was
committed by automatic weapon and mortars from thedirection of KrAMljane
village. At about 11 PM , groups of Albanian extremistsattacked police
stations in Lausa and Gornja Klina, Srbica municipality.
AUGUST 27
A group of Albanian extremists attacked police checkpoint at theentrance
in Podujevo, at 3:45 AM . The coup was committed by hand launchers and
mortars, and no casualties were reported. The police fired back on the
attack.
AUGUST 28
Police forces broke down Albanian extremists' strongholds in Klecka village,
ten kilometres north of Dulje. The police control the whole area. According
to the first reports, a location of KLA headquarter, as well as a large
documentation, with lists of members and plans of the organization were
found in Klecka village. According to the words of a captured Albanian
extremist the place where Albanian extremists executecivilians by shooting
was identified. Investigation Court Authorities brought criminal charges
against these crimes. Large AMount of weapon, as well as food, mainly distributed
by humanitarian organizations, were found inKlecka village. Klecka village
is situated on 1044 meters of sea level. From these heights Albanian extremists
have controlled the area in last months, and continuously firing against
police patrols and civilian vehicles.
AUGUST 29
At about 10 AM police forces killed 7 terrorists in Donja Susica village,
Klina municipality. The group of the Albanian extremists attacked the police
in the morning. The clash had lasted over two hours. There were no casualties
reported AMong the police. According to Klina municipal authorities those
were the remainings of broken terrorist groups withdrawingto Drenica. 2
Two policemen were wounded, while 15 separatist members of KLA were killed
in clashes in Bilusa, Zagradska Hoca, Leskovec and Lez villages, as well
as, in Tusus settlement near Prizren. The police officers Miroslav Rakonjac
from Prokuplje and Miroljub Ristic from Nis were badly wounded at about
3 PM in Lez village. Their lives, according to the surgeon statement, are
not jeopardized. The police arrested 15 members of this terrorist organization
and have forwarded them to the investigationauthorities. The clash occurred
yesterday morning, when heavy-armed Albanian extremist groups made synchronizedattacks
against the police in the settlements, not far from Prizren. The attackers
fired from assault riffles, machine guns and anti-tank launchers.
SEPTEMBER 2
Heavy armed Albanian extremist groups repeated their attackagainst the
police in Bilusa, Zagradska Hoca and Leskovec villages, as well as, in
a part of Tusus settlement near Prizren. The police fired back and the
attackers ran away. The search against the rest of heavy-armed Albanianextremist
groups, that attacked the police, is still underway. The source mentioned
claims, no casualties AMong the police were reported. A policeman Bratislav
Miljkovic from Prizren was badly wounded during the clash in Jeskovo village
15:30 PM. The clash started early morning hours, when Albanian extremist
groups attacked the police positions, occupied a day before. The had captured
large quantities of weapon, mainly of Chinese make, that the Albanian extremists
were throwing while runningaway.
SEPTEMBER 3
At least 20 members of the separatist KLAwere killed in yesterday's clashes
around Ljubicevo and Jeskovo villages, south of Prizren. Well-equipped
hospital, in which, the separatist KLA was medically treating its wounded,
was discoveredin Ljubicevo village.Heavy armed Albanian extremist groups
made several synchronized attacks against the police early this morning
close to Iglarevo village, on the road -Pec, as well as close to Drenovac
village, Klina Commune and close to HrAMovik village, on the road Djakovica
- Klina. These,in fact, were armed Albanian separatists, crashed during
last week clashes, who are now trying to cut the roads in this part of
Metohija.An armed Albanian group had kidnapped 13 Albanians, the workersof
"Javor" department of "Srbijasume" state owned company and led them in
an unknown. A bulldozer, dredge and other machines were stolen from the
department, the sAMe source claims. Tun Kaznjeti, deputy president of Djakovica
commune board of Socialist Party of Serbia was reported missing the day
before yesterday in the afternoon hours. His fAMily,reporting the commune
authorities of his absence, claimed he disappeared somewhere on a village
roadbetween Dobribar and Djakovica.Thirteen Albanians, the workers of "Javor"
department in Belasica village, near Podujevo, that had been taken in an
unknown direction by armed Albanians yesterday, werereleased , Podujevo
commune authorities confirmed Media Centar. They stated to the authorities
that they had been robed and maltreated by the Albanian extremists, who
had also stolen the machinery and had demolished the rest of the department
equiPMent. Policeman Jovica Stojkovic from was badly wounded at about 4
PM, in the surrounding of Drenovac village.
SEPTEMBER 4
The clashes between the police and armed Albanian extremists in the area
continued also morning. The police searches for the ramaing members of
KLA. Albanian extremists suffered significant losses and large quantities
of weaponand military equiPMent were confiscated. In the morning, a group
of Albanians handed over anti-armoredrocket system "Armbrust", as well
as 14 automatic riffles and 50 grenades to the police in Zur, settlementon
the Prizren - Dragas road. In villages Zagradska Hoca, Biluste and Posliste,
southern of Prizren, groups of Albanians handed over large quantity of
weapon to the police in the morning. 17 heavy machine guns, 89 assault
riffles, 59 semi automatic riffles, 5 hand launchers and 3 mortars, aswell
as a large AMount of bullets and mines was handed over. Police was also
handed over radio link equiPMent. In the clashes between the police and
Albanian extremist groups, near by the villages south of Prizren, the police
arrested more than 60 KLA members.
SEPTEMBER 5
More than five thousand Albanians returned to Labucevo, Ponorac, Volujak,
Svrhe and Rudaj villages, south of Klina. During past days, they had fled
to nearbyforests because of the clashes. The police distributed initial
quantities of food and medicine to the citizens. The police captured some
250 Albanians in the forests close to Ponorac village, south of Klina.
They have been suspected of being the members of the separatist formations
of KLA. Most of the captured had thrown away their weapon and uniforms
in surrounding forests before they were caught. During the search of the
terrain, the police found large quantities of weapon and military equiPMent,
as wellas the uniforms with the insignia of the separatist KLA. The police
liberated Tun Kaznjeti, deputy president of Djakovica board of Socialist
Party of Serbia this morning, in the forest, not far from Ponorac village,
south of Klina. Albanian extremists had kidnapped him four days ago just
near Djakovica.
SEPTEMBER 6
About one thousand Albanians returned to Bec, Molic, Brovina,Batusa and
Ponosevac villages, west of Djakovica. They had hidden in near by forests
because of theclashes in this area during past few months. Djakovica municipal
authorities conduct cAMpaign for return of Albanians that fled the area,
previouslyinsuring their complete safety. Albanians from Brdosan village,
east of Djakovica, handed over their weapon to the authorities. A few months
ago, members of Albanian terrorist groups armed them. Large quantities
of automatic weapon, AMmunition and explosive were handed over. This is
the sixteenth village in Djakovica municipality whose citizens handed over
their weapon in past 20 days.
SEPTEMBER 9
Near by village Glodjane, where the police found out the place where Albanian
extremists execute civilians, investigation about the crime was carried
out . Rade Gojkovic, the Pec district court attorney who is in charge for
investigation, stated that 11 corpses ofkilled civilians were found on
the place of the crime, happened at the branch of Decanska Bistrica river,and
according to the eye-witnesses, Albanian extremists shot not less than
40 civilians. Police special teAMs are searching for the rest of the killed
corpses, which are, as it is assumed, in themud of Radonjic Lake. TeAMs
of coroners will continue with establishing of more details about the crime.
9 Near by Brnjaca village, Orahovac municipality, the police brokedown
Albanian extremist group that was planning to attack the police in the
region. Aslan Klecka (1946), one of the Albanian extremist group leader,
that committed many crimes in theregion, especially in Klecka village,
east of Malisevo, was killed in the clash. Police handed over Aslan Klecka's
body to the Orahovac investigation authorities. Kosovo and Metohija ethnic
Albanians from Gornja Luka village, east of Decane, handed over weapon,
that were given to them by Albanian extremists, to the police. Large quantity
of automatic weapon, mortars, hand grenades and AMmunition were handed
over, accordingto the Decane municipal authorities. Delegation of ethnic
Albanians from the nearby villages of Donja Luka and Istinic told the Decane
polihey want to hand over weapon as well. Tadija Radosavljevic (44) from
Svinjare village, worker of "Trepca", was killed last night in the attack
on Stari Trg committed by Albanian extremists last night. Attack on Stari
trg started yesterday morning, and Media Centar was reported by the Kosovska
MitrovicAMunicipal authorities, and lasted all night long. Groups of Albanian
extremists fire from automatic weapon and mortars at the police station
and on the"Trepca" mine objects. Albanian inhabitants of Istinic, Donja
Luka, Gornji and Donji Streoc, Papracane and Dubovik, handed over weapon
that they had been given, to the police at about 2 PM Large quantity of
automatic weapon, mortars, explosive devices and AMmunition, as well as
an antitankrocket system "Armbrust" made in Germany. The chief of Decane
police Vukmir Mircic agreed in Istinic with representatives from five villages
ofmentioned municipality upon handed over of weapon. The police invited
inhabitants of Krusevac village, Pec municipality, around noon, to hand
over weapon, that they had given by Albanian extremists. The Pec municipal
authorities said there is a large concentration of weapon in the village,
and a group ofcitizens was interested to hand over weapon to the police.
In the area of Banjski Lug, west of Decani, policebroke down groups of
Albanian extremists who had been attacking police and civilians in this
area for thepast few months, Decani. Police seized large quantities of
weapon and uniforms with separatist KLA marks,that Albanian extremists
threw away and escape, according to the sAMe source. Last night at about
8:20 PM, a group of Albanian extremists incAMouflage-uniforms with KLA
marks, killed Arsim Poniku from automatic weapon, infront of his house
in 71 Zvecanska Street in Prizren. Yesterday, the police found the body
of his uncle Asret Poniku who had been taken away by extremists. According
to first results of investigation Asret Poniku was shot in his back by
16 bullets from automaticweapon. Investigation authorities are working
on this crime, and the police are searching for the criminals. Haljim Krasnici,
an Albanian from Banjina village, Glogovac municipality, was kidnapped,
not far away from his village. The police was informed by his neighbors
that Haljim was taken away in an unknown direction by threearmed Albanians
wearing uniforms with KLA marks on them.
SEPTEMBER 10
Investigation authorities have found 24 dead bodies up to now, atRatis
place near Glodjane village, 10-km south - east of Decane, where the police
found out the placewhere the Albanian extremists committed executions.
Twenty dead bodies have been found in the canal downstreAM towards Radonjic
Lake, and 4 dead bodieswere excavated , a hundred meters further towards
Dasinovac village. It has been determined that two of the victims were
men and the other two, were women. Expert teAMs are trying to identify
the victims Victimshad visible signs of being previously tortured. Glodjane.
The place of execution of civilians was visited by the representatives
of diplomatic observation group from the USA and Russia. During last two
days, Albanians from the village southeast of Decane surrendered larger
quantities ofweapon, some thousand of assault rifles, machine-guns and
light cannons. The village Albanian representatives requested full police
protection. While running away, the Albanian extremist groups throw their
weapon and uniforms, carrying the insigniaof the separatist KLA. A regular
bus line Pec - Istinic - Decane was reestablished after a several month
brake. The Electro -Economy teAMs speed up their work on the transformer
station repair in Gornja Luka village, as well as, the repair of electricity
network, dAMaged during recent clashes.
SEPTEMBER 11
The separatist KLA suffered total defeat in Metohija region, between Decane
and Klina. The police found hundreds of rifles and uniforms, carrying insignia
of the separatist KLA, in the meadows and forests northeast of Decane,
in the direction of Klina. Simultaneously, the weapon surrender action
is underway also. The Albanians from these villagesorganized themselves
and surrendered some two thousand pieces of various type of weapon. Assaultrifles,
machine guns, anti tank launchers, mortars and hand grenades, as well as,
several recoillesscanons were submitted to the police. The court investigation
and medical experts continue theprocedure of determining the facts of crimes
made by Albanian extremists not far from Glodjane,southeast of Decane.
The canal water inflow, in which the victim corps had been found, was stopped,
and specialized polieAMs and divers search the bottom of Radonjicko Lake
for possible additional victims. Sinisa Mihajlovic, (35) a clerk in the
Stimlje tax administrationoffice was killed last night near by Kosare village,
on the Urosevac - Stimlje road. His car was riddled with bullets fired
from automatic weapon, and his driver was not wounded.
SEPTEMBER 12
In an investigation led upon crimes against civilians in the area of village
Glodjane up to now corpses of 29 civilians, killed by Albanian extremists,
have been found, investigation judge Rade Gojkovic. Corpses of killed people
were transported to Djakovica for identification. Specialized scuba diver
teAM is searching the bottom of the Radonjic Lake and water supply canal
where,assumptively, might have been more corpses. Police teams found a
young female corpse in a trunk of a car, pushed into the canal. Investigation
upon crimes committed against civilians in the area of village Glodjane
continues. Area between Glodjane village and the Radonjic Lake is being
searched. Glodjane, Decanska Bistrica channel. KLA
attacked the police patrol on Glogovac -Srbica road at 6:40 PM and policeman
Goran Nikolic, the member of Vranje police department, was badly wounded.
A reservist policeman Nebojsa Vicentijevic (27) from Kosovska Mitrovica
was killed at 9 PM in Likovac village, Srbica commune.
SEPTEMBER 13
The citizens of Albanian nationality kept on surrendering theweapon, received
by the separatist KLA, in the Pec commune. Some 150 pieces of various automatic
and semi-automatic weapons were surrendered in Barane, Celopek, Krusevac
and Vranovac villages. The police headquarters remind these were the Albanians
who, due to the clashes, fled during the pastdays, and now are returning
to their villages and started surrendering the weapons.
SEPTEMBER 14
Around noon, representatives of Canadian diplomatic -observing group visited
police positions in the area of village Likovac, Drenica region. After
the visit, Canadian diplomats, despite the police warning, were heading
to the positions held by members of secessionist KLA in Donje Obrinje village.
Their car bumped onto land mine not far from Donje Obrinje and car turned
over after the explosion. KLA simultaneously started to shoot from the
direction of Donje Obrinje by automatic weapon and mortars toward the police
positions. Nevertheless, the police headed to the place where the car turned
over. The police and Canadian diplomats succeeded tomake a radio contact,
a woman, who was in the car with two Canadian diplomats, was lightly wounded.
The police succeeded to evacuate three members of Canadian diplomatic -
observing group, at 4:45 PM . Canadian diplomats were safely evacuated
from the region of Donje Obrnje village, where from, Albanian extremists
have been still shooting against the police. A woman member of the Canadian
teAM was was wounded in the hand. Two other diplomats suffered no wounds.
Policeman Marinko Kandic (1965) from Pec was killed
around 5 PM, nearby Stari Trg, Kosovska Mitrovica municipality. Policeman
Nenad Jovanovic was badly wounded in this area, and he was transported
to the Kosovska Mitrovica. Also, three policemen were lightly wounded.
The police latter broke down heavily armed groups of Albanian extremists,
between Stari Trg and Bajgora village, north east of Kosovska Mitrovica.
Six members of secessionist, KLA, wearing black uniforms were killed.
SEPTEMBER 16
Specialized medical and court - investigation teAMs have found 34 civilians
body remains, who had been killed by Albanian extremists, up to now, nearby
Glodjane village, south east of Decane, in an intake water canal nearby
the Lake Radonjic. Bodies identification process is in progress, and special
scuba diving teAMs are still searching the bottomof the Radonjic Lake,
where, it has been assumed, might have been more remains of victims. Several
corpses were transported to Djakovica. The coroners have been trying to
identify them. Yesterday around 9 AM , a group of ten armed men intruded
into FR Yugoslavia from Albania and started to shot against Yugoslav Army
border soldiers in the area ofsummer border post nAMed "Bosko Zilovic",
on the slopes of Djeravica mountain. Armed terrorist, using the fog and
the rain, intruded into territory of Yugoslavia and shot from automaticweapon
and hand rocket launchers. Two grenades fell very near to the border post.
Yugoslav Army border soldiers fired back and the attackers returned to
the territory of Albania. No border soldier was reported casualty. Border
post "Bosko Zilovic" is situated at the junction of three borders, AMongst
Serbia, Montenegro and Albania on inaccessible terrain and it is to be
used when weather conditions allow it, mainlyduring summer.
SEPTEMBER 17
Policemen Aleksandar Savic and Dragan Kovacevic were badly wounded attacks
made by the Albanian extremists against the police near HuseinovicMahale
village northeast of Kosovska Mitrovica. They were transported to Kosovska
Mitrovica hospital and their lives are not endangered. Also, two more policemen
were lightly wounded. Albanian extremists repeatedly attacked the police,
usingautomatic weapons and mortars, this morning in the villages northeast
of Kosovska Mitrovica.
SEPTEMBER 19
Policeman reservist Ilija Jankovic (40) from Pec succumbed his wounds at
the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade. He was wounded during the attack
of Albanian extremists made yesterday at 3 PM not far from Barane village,
Pec commune. After first aid was administered in the Pec hospital, Jankovic
was transported to Belgrade by helicopter. The attack against the police
not far from Barane village was made from the automatic weapons.
SEPTEMBER 21
Three policemen were killed in the Albanian extremists' yesterdayattacks
against the police at the Cicavica Mountain spurs, northwest of Pristina,
Media Centar wasconfirmed by the Pristina police headquarters.Policeman
named Branislav Milenkovic (1956) from Nis was killed in the Albanian extremists'
attacks notfar from Poluza village, Glogovac commune.Slobodan Gorjanovic
from Novi Sad was killed near Dobrosevac village, Glogovac commune, while
MilosBradic (1963) was killed not far from Osljane village, Vucitrn commune.Policemen
Vladan Velickovic, Sasa Milanovic, Milan Krasic, Drago Djurovic and Marko
Galo were badlywounded although, the surgeon reported, their lives are
not endangered.
SEPTEMBER 22
The police broke down heavily armed groups of Albanians in the villages
situated on the slopes of Cicavica mountain, north east of Pristina. Police
forces took control over village Leskovcic, Obilic municipality and seized
large quantity of weapons. The police broke down Albanian extremists’ strongholds
in the villages Gladno Selo and Trstenik, Glogovac municipality, as well
as a stronghold in Gornji Prekaz, Srbica municipality. The police continued
with chase for shattered groups of KLA that withdraw from villages upward
Cicavica mountain. Sasa Stojanovic from Pec was badly wounded and Milan
Midzarevic was lightly wounded at about 8 PM on the Pristina – Pec road,
not far from Iglarevo village. Stojanovic was transported to the Pec hospital
and the doctors have taken care of his wounds. An automatic weapon fire
was made against their car, Opel Vectra, license plate IG-415-59. They
kept on driving their riddled car several kilometers more, where from,
they were transported to Pec.
SEPTEMBAR 23
The clashes between the police and the Albanian extremists atthe Cicavica
Mountain spurs continued this morning also. The police forces crashed the
Albanianextremists' strongholds in the Vucitrn commune villages of Zilivode
and Osljane, as well as, in Poluzavillage, Glogovac commune.The extremists'
smaller crashed groups keep on withdrawing up the Cicavica Mountain; the
Vucitrn commune authorities informed Media Centar. Boban Matic (1973) from the Orahovac
commune village ofBratotin and his thirteen-year-old cousin named Srecko
Blagojevic from Recane, were reported missingsince yesterday afternoon.
They disappeared somewhere on the road between Recane and Movljane villages,
Suva Reka commune.Their families reported the authorities about the incident.It
has been assumed, they were kidnapped by the Albanian extremists' groups
concentrating in the areaagain.
SEPTEMBAR 24
The police arrested 194 Albanians, suspected of being theseparatist KLA
members, during its action of crashing the Albanian extremists in thearea
around Cicavica Mountain, in the last two days.Tens of the arrested were
armed and wore the uniforms with insignia of the separatist KLA, while
numbers of them threw away their arms and uniforms and surrendered to the
police.The investigation authorities initiated a procedure against the
suspects detained. The police completed the ring
around strong Albanian extremistgroups withdrawing toward the peaks of
Cicavica Mountain. After two day fights, the Albanian extremists strongholds
were crashed in 15 villages in the region. Astrong resistance against the
police was especially made in Cirez, Godance, Gladno Selo, Osljane, Dobrosevac,
Dubovac villages...The police captured large quantities of weapons and
military equipment.

"The police actions, crashing terrorist gangs of Albanianseparatists, have
been successfully completed in Cicavica Mountain. Numerous terrorist bases
weredestroyed and tens of Albanian terrorists were killed", Colonel Bozidar
Filic, MIF of Serbia Spokesman declared. "One of their leaders, namely,
Fehmi Ladrovci (1956), who pretended to be the commander of the terrorist
KLA of the region, was also among the terrorists killed. He had taken part
in the Croatian and Bosnian war, joining the units of "ZNG", and was well
known regarding the crimes; he committed at that time. The Ladrovci group,
located at the Cicavica Mountain spurs and in Drenica region,consisted
of the criminals who made numerous terrorist attacks against the police
and civilians, as wellas, the attack against the police van in 1993, on
the railroad crossing near Glogovac, when threepolicemen were killed",
colonel Bozidar Filic said ."Some 325 Albanians were arrested during the
raid against the terrorist gangs in Cicavica. They have beensuspected of
taking part in the attacks against the police and civilians. There were
also armed members,wearing the uniforms of the terrorist KLA among the
arrested. An investigation procedure has beeninitiated against the respective",
said Filic."No civilian casualties were reported in these actions. The
civilians, who were in the zone of the actions, are safe and they return
to their villages".

At about 5 PM, near by Likovac village, Glogovac municipality, five police
reservists were killed in a field vehicle which bumped onto road mine that
was setby Albanian extremists.Goran Zivadinovic (1969) from Soko Banja,
Slavomir Bojanic (1970) from Priboj, Ognjen Petrovic (1975) from Novi Sad,
Dragoslav Tadic (1962) and Aleksandar Pantovic (1973) from Vrbas were killed.Canadian
KDOM vehicle bumped on the similar mine at the same spot, near by village
Likovac, ten daysago.Policemen Miroslav Slovic (1974) from Zubin Potok
and RajkoRadovanovic (1973) from Srbica were killed in an attack committed
yesterday at about 2 PM, by heavilyarmed group of Albanians near by Donje
Obrinje village.The attackers shot from automatic weapon and mortars. The
police fired back.

Three policemen were killed in an attack committed by Albanianextremists
against the police, near by Donje Obrinje village, west of Glogovac, yesterday
around 3.30 p.m.Veljko Miljkovic (1968), Sreten Milic (1970) and Ljubomir
Ljubomirovic (1966), policemen employed inKrusevac were killed.It was shot
from automatic weapon and mortars against the police, Media Centar was
informed. The policefired back. According to the Glogovac municipality
authorities' information, the police broke down Albanianextremists' strongholds
in the villages of Gornje and Donje Obrinje and in wider area of Glogovac
as well.During the breaking down of terrorist strongholds in the area,
ten members, at least, of secessionistKLA was killed, reported by the same

State authorities and humanitarian organizations dotheir best in order
to solve most urgently existing humanitarian problems and to provide all
necessary aidfor normalization of life in the areas where Albanian terrorists
and extremists caused conflicts. We hopethat international organizations
will realized that untrutfulnesses about Kosovo and Metohija are used byAlbanian
secessionists in order to prolong life to defeated terrorist groups of

Policeman Sladjan Popovic (1971) from Pec was killed yesterdayin an attack
committed by Albanian terrorists against the police at 2:30 p.m. near by
Studenica place,between Strpce and Suva Reka. Policeman Slavoljub Djurisic
was badly wounded during the same attack, and he was transported to the
Pristina Clinical-Hospital Center. According to the doctors' statement,
his life is not endangered. The police broke down Albanian terrorists'
strongholds in the area of the villages Budakovo and Jezerceyesterday.
The police broke down all strongholds of Albanianextremists in the area
of Jezerska Mountain, east of Suva Reka. Several tens of Albanian extremists,
according to the same source, were killed in the clashes.The police arrested
several hundreds of Albanians in the region. Investigation upon their involvement
interrorist activities against the police and civilians will be brought.
During the actions of breaking down strongholds of armedAlbanian
in the region of Drenica and Cicavica Mountain, several hundreds of Albanians
were arrested lastweek under suspicion that they took part in armed actions
against the police and civilians. Criminal charges against the arrested

Mountains in the night on thebreak of September 27, and 28.Heavy-armed
Albanian terrorist groups attacked their unit last night using automatic
weapon and mortars.

One person was killed, and three others were wounded in a fieldvehicle
belong to International Committee of Red Cross. The vehicle bumped onto
the mine, at about 10 AM, on the road between Likovac and Donje Obrinje
in Drenica region.Spetim Robaj, a doctor from Pristina was killed, and
the wounded ones were Margaret Brison from NewZealand, Ilir Tolaj, a doctor
from Pristina and Mirlinda Bujaku from Pristina.The wounded members of
ICRC were transported with helicopter to the Pristina Clinical-Hospital
Center,and according to the doctors' statement, their lives are not endangered.Their
field vehicle bumped onto the contact mine in the area where five policemen
had been killed fromsimilar explosion last week, and similar mine had been
exploded in front of the Canadian KDOM vehicle twenty days ago.The police
informed that they have at knowledge that Albanian extremists groups set
mines onto the most of the roads in the area, and specialized police teams
would put forth effort to deactivatemines that had been set. A
fire was made from mortars, machine guns and assault riflesagainst the
members of Yugoslav Army border guards in the area of Kosare border barracks,
northwest of Djakovica, at 11:45 AM CET today.Yugoslav border guards came
under fire from the territory Albania. The attack lasted for several
hours. Yugoslav border guards fired back and repelled the attack.At present,
Media Centar was not in a position to receive the information confirmation
on eventualcasualties during the previous, or this attack.
OCTOBER 2
Yugoslav border post Gorozup, southwest of Prizren, was attacked today
at 4:20 PM. Yugoslav border guards came under automatic weapon and hand-grenade
launcher fire Albania. More precisely, the fire came from the Albanian
border post named Pogaj.
OCTOBER 3
At about 7:30 PM, a Yugoslav army vehicle was attackednear by Goles, 20
kilometers south west of Pristina. A rifle grenade was shot against mail
van belong to Yugoslav Army. The vehicle was damaged badly. Nocasualties
were reported among the Yugoslav Army soldiers in the van. Policeman
Dejan Barac from Kragujevac was killed yesterday at about 5 PM nearby Dragobilje
village, west of Malisevo. The policeman was killed from the mine explosion.
Between 9 and 10 PM, shattered groups of Albanianextremists
committed three attacks on civilian vehicles near by Dulje, on the Pristina
- Prizren road.Nuhi Mazrek from Mamusa, who was in one of the car, was
wounded. He was transported to the PristinaHospital. He was wounded in
a leg, and according to the doctors' statement he is successfully recovering.It
was shot from automatic weapon on the people's representative in National
Assembly and the mayor of Prizren, Mr. Ljubisa Stevanovic's car. His car
was riddled with one shot, no casualty was reported.
OCTOBER 9
A group of Albanian extremists, using automatic weapon, attacked thehouse
of Vehbi Cerimi in Donje Godance village, Stimlje municipality last night
at about 1 a.m.Cerimi fired back, and according to his words, the fight
lasted for 40 minutes. No casualties were reportedamong his family members.
The bullets riddled his house.Cerimi is the Stimlje Municipal Assembly
member, and two members of his family are employed at the MIA of Serbia.
Albanian extremists sporadically fired against police
patrols not faraway from Likovac village, north east of Glogovac. No casualties
among the policemen were reported.The police did not fire back.
Albanian extremists shot from automatic weapon against

OCTOBER 13
The Pristina District Court brought criminal charges against nineAlbanians,
being accused of organizing numerous terrorist actions in Pristina this
year.The state security members arrested Hamdi Hiseni from Grastica, Saban
Grbesi from Marevac, SkenderCakoli from Pristina, Seljman Kadrijevic from
Kosovo Polje and Baskim Msica from Pristina. State securitypolicemen are
still chasing for the rest of the suspects and among them are an ex-police
inspectors FadiljSuljevic, as well as Mehmet Aljiu from Strovce, Isljam
Msica and Baki Gasi from Pristina.Members of the group activated an explosive
device in Pristina's Kralj Petar Prvi Olobodilac Street, nearbythe bus
carrying Yugoslav Army members. Then, three officers and a civilian were
wounded, this year July3, at 6 a.m.In addition, they planed more terrorist
attacks against the police and civilians, as well as, kidnapping StateSecurity
policemen and Albanians loyal to Serbia, the Pristina District Court claimed.They
were given orders from the leaders of secessionist KLA, in Drenica, SulejmanSelimi
with the nickname "Sultan" and Zejnulah Proksi.
OCTOBER 15
At about 6 PM policeman Nenad Stankovic (1971) fromJagodina was killed
in an attack of Albanian terrorists in Dragobilje village, Orahovac municipality.
Automatic weapons bazookas and mortars were employed in the attack.In similar
attack committed two nights ago, policemen Vladan Radulovic and Sasa Todorovic
were badlywounded, and Zoran Damjanovic was easily wounded. They were transported
to the Pristina Hospital Center, and according to the doctors' statements,
their lives are not in critical condition. In
the last two days, Albanian terrorists committed numerous attacksagainst
the police in Drenica region. The police were attacked by snipers, mortars,
bazookas andautomatic weapons in villages of Lipljan, Glogovac, Suva Reka,
Kosovska Mitrovica, Klina and Srbicamunicipalities.No casualties were reported
among the policemen. The police did not return fire. Albanian
extremists shot from automatic weapon against Serb civilians yesterday
around noon in villages Dren and Crepulja, Zubin Potok municipality. No
casualty wasreported.
OCTOBER 16
Branko Bojkovic, security worker of Belacevac Mine, was badlywounded last
night, at about 10 PM, during the attack committed from several directions
by a group ofAlbanians, armed with automatic weapons. Bojkovic was transported
to the Pristina Clinical-Hospital Center, and, according to the doctors'
statement,he is out of life danger. At about
10.30 PM, three Albanians, wearing KLA uniforms, badly wounded Miroslav
Stanisic, a policeman-conscript, in Mirena village, nearLipljan.They shot
from automatic weapon against his car. Stanisic succeeded to reach with
bullet riddled car tothe nearest police checkpoint. Then, he was transported
to the Pristina Hospital. He is out of life danger. At
about 11 PM, a group of armed Albanians attackedthe police station in Pristina
settlement Vranjevac. The attackers shot by automatic weapons. Severalbullets
hit the police building and spotlights in yard.No casualty was reported.
The police did not fire back. Armed Albanians
committed three synchronized attacks in Podujevo. Simultaneously, they
threw several hand grenades at the building of police station in the verycenter
of the town, and it was fired with automatic weapons against the police
checkpoint at the entranceof Podujevo. It was also shot on the police patrol
in one of Podujevo streets at the same time.No casualty was reported. The
police did not fire back. Between 10 and 11 PM,
groups of armed Albanian extremists attacked the Komorane police checkpoint,
on the Pristina - Pec road. The shooting came from the direction of Lapusnik.
No policeman was reported wounded. Around midnight,
a group of armed Albanian extremistsattacked a house of Ramadan Rusiti,
employed at the Stimlje police, in village Donja Bitinja. The housewas
severely damaged. Following the attack, attackers withdrew. There was no
casualty reported. Between 6 and 7 PM, Albanian
extremistscommitted a heavy attack by mortars, grenade launchers and automatic
weapons against the policecheck-point near Dragobilje village, between
Malisevo and Orahovac.No casualties were reported among the police. The
police did not return the fire. Between 12 and
3 PM, several attacks weremade against the police in Kraljane village,
Djakovica municipality. Albanian extremists fired from mortars,grenade
launchers, machine guns and assault rifles, Media center was informed by
the Djakovicamunicipality authorities.The police were attacked from the
direction of Jablanica and Grgoc villages.No wounded policemen were reported.
Four bullets hit a police car. The police did not return the fire.
At about 2 PM Albanian extremists fired againsta
policeman named Nenad Pavicevic while he was controlling the traffic. Pavicevic
was not wounded.The attackers withdrew after the firing. At
1:30 PM, Albanian extremists attacked the police near Dulje village, on
the Pristina - Prizren road.Automatic weapons were employed in the attack
from the direction of Blace village. No policemen werereported wounded.
At about 1 PM Albanian extremists attackedthe police,
using automatic weapons, between Samodreza and Dobrodeljane villages, Suva
Reka municipality. No policemen were reported wounded.
OCTOBER 18
The police conscripts Zivorad Kostic (1961), Dejan Jakovljevic (1961)and
Goran Markovic (1971) were killed in an attack made by Albanian terrorists
at 9:30 PM, near Orlate village, on the Pristina - Malisevo road.The police
conscripts Milivoje Markovic and Goran Sofronijevic were badly wounded
in the attack. Theywere later transported to the Pristina Clinical Hospital
Center. Their lives are not endangered.The investigation on the crime is
underway. Albanians extremists attacked the police
car using automaticweapons last night at 6 PM, in Magura village, Lipljan
municipality, 15 kilometer southwest of Pristina. Policeman Milivoje Pejic
was badly wounded, while, police conscript Ljubisa Peric was lightlywounded.The
policemen wounded were transported to the Pristina Clinical Hospital Center.
According to thesurgeon statement, their lives are not endangered.
At 7 PM, Albanian extremists attacked the policecheckpoint
in Komorane using assault rifles, machine guns and sniper rifles.The attack
lasted for some 15 minutes. No casualties were reported among the police.
The police in Klecka village, Lipljan municipality,
some 40 kilometersouthwest of Pristina, were attacked from many directions,
yesterday, at 1 PM. The assault riflesand machine guns were employed in
the attack.No casualties were reported among the police. Albanian
extremists reportedly fired three times against the policeyesterday in
Kraljane village, Djakovica municipality. The first attack was committed
at 6 AM,while other two within an interval from 1 to 3 PM.No casualties
were reported among the police. One of the attackers was killed.
OCTOBER 19
"Tanjug" journalists Nebojsa Radosevic and Vladimir Dobricicdisappeared
yesterday afternoon in the region of Magura village, 20 kilometers south
east of Pristina.Tanjug journalists were on their duty, and since then,
no trace of them was found. They were in "Yugo Florida" car, registration
plate number BG - 987 - 090. All international humanitarian organizations
wereinformed about their disappearance.Two months ago in Orahovac region
Radio Pristina journalist Djuro Slavuj and driver Ranko Perenic, and since
then, there is no information about them.
OCTOBER 28: Some 15 minutes after midnight, Zef Dreni (1932) was
killed in the yard of his house in Firza village, Djakovica municipality.
Dreni was killed from the assault rifle. His family said the investigation authorities; four people wearing
camouflage uniforms with the insignia of the separatist KLA killed Dreni. The attackers had also beaten up
Zef’s son Muja, who had run out from home to help his father. He suffered bad injuries.
A fire was made from the automatic weapons against the police patrol car on the road Pristina - Leskovac near Grastica
village at about 4 PM. No casualties were reported among the police.
The fire was made twice from a "Mercedes Benz" car against the police patrol car that was hit by four bullets,
the same source claimed. A police ambulance was attacked yesterday at about 3 PM
in Lipovica, some 20 kilometer southwest of Pristina.
The attackers fired from AK-47s and several bullets hit the police ambulance.
No casualties were reported among the police occupying the car.
OCTOBER 29: Nazmi Oluri (1973) was killed at about 3:30 PM
not far from Stimlje. Some, at present, unknown persons shot Oluri in the head.
The Stimlje Municipal Authorities suspect, Albanian extremists committed the murder,
because Nazmi Oluri was considered as an Albanian loyal to Serbia.
NOVEMBER 1: At 1:30 PM, a group of four armed Albanians wearing KLA secessionist uniforms attacked police patrol in Glodjane village, near Pec. Policeman Drasko Stosic was
easily wounded during the attack. Policemen fired back.
NOVEMBER 2: Fehmi Sopa was badly wounded at about 8:30 PM ,
in front of his house in Malo Gracko village, near Lipljan commune. He was transported to the Pristina
hospital. The surgeons have been trying to save his life. According to Sopa family member statement, four uniformed persons with the insignia of the separatist
KLA fired from the assault rifles at their house. The Lipljan commune authorities said, the reason for the attack was because Sopa family never hidden
their loyalty to Serbia. Three workers of the coal mine were wounded at about 6
PM , not far from the Belacevac coal mine. Desimir Prodanovic, engineer and Dragisa Stepanovic, driver have been badly wounded, while, Slavoljub
Tanaskovic has been lightly wounded. They were all transported to the Pristina Clinical-Hospital Center and according to the surgeon’s claims,
their lives are not endangered. Albanian terrorists fired from the assault rifles against two vehicles transporting the workers to the
Belacevac coal mine.
NOVEMBER 4: A heavy group of Albanian terrorists attacked the police at
about 11 AM , between the villages of Petrovo and Rack, Stimlje municipality. The attack lasted up to 1:20 PM. A grenade fired from the anti-tank launcher hit a police vehicle. No
casualties were reported among the police. At 7:30 PM , Albanian extremists, from direction of
Bivoljak village, repeatedly fired from automatic weapons at Priluzje village, some 20 kilometers northwest
of Pristina. The attacks lasted up to 11 PM. There are visible traces of shooting on several houses. A police patrol car was attacked at about 10 AM , not
far from Klina, several kilometers far on the road heading toward Josanica village. Eight shots hit the car. The police fired back and killed one of the attackers, wearing a camouflage uniform
with the insignia of the separatist KLA, armed with an assault rifle and a gun.
NOVEMBER 6: Spokesman of Republic of Serbia Ministry of Interior Affairs, Colonel
Bozidar Filic denied the information published by several media about the abduction of an policeman two
nigths ago on the Vucitrn road. "After the investigation it was estimated that the news was desinformation".
A group of armed Albanian extremists attacked the regular police patrol on the Suva Reka - Orahovac road, near by Opterusa village, at 9:30 PM The police
fired back, and five attackers, wearing secessionists KLA camouflage uniforms, and
armed with assault rifles and mortars, were killed. No policeman was reported injured. Two police vehicles were riddled with several bullets.
The police found, in two attackers’ cars (one with Prizren and other one with Switzerland registration
plates) two China made mortars, an assault rifle, seven hand grenades and large quantity of ammunition.
According to the same source, Albanian extremists shot on the investigation members’ team, during the investigation.
NOVEMBER 7: Policemen Ilija Vujosevic (1950) and Dejan Djatlov (1975)
disappeared yesterday around 12:30 PM on the road between Malisevo and Orlate,where they were
assigned to, Media centar was reported by the Pristina Police Headquarters.
Ilija Vujosevic, a policeman at the Pristina PD, and Dejan Djatlov a member of conscript police, were
driving groceries in a truck for policemen on the field. The police undertake all measures in order to find two missing policemen.
The policemen were disappeared in the region,where members of secessionist KLA
made frequent provocation during the past days, and it is supposed that the policemen were abducted by
Albanian extremists.
NOVEMBER 9: Bodies of the policemen Ilija Vujosevic (1950) and Dejan Djatlov
(1975), that were kidnapped on Friday on the road between Malisevo and Orlate, were found this morning
not far from Malisevo. According to the first results of the investigation, the two kidnapped policemen were killed by firearms from
a close distance. The investigation of the crime is underway. Ilija Vujosevic, policeman from Pristina and Dejan Djatlov, police conscript, were transporting the supplies
for the police by truck. The police patrol found their bodies this morning. A heavy-armed attack was made against the Malisevo Police
Station last night at 07:20 PM , Media Centar was informed. No casualties were reported among the police.
Heavy-armed groups of Albanian extremists attacked the police station using mortars, bazookas and
automatic weapons. Four mortar projectiles have hit and damaged the police building. A police off-road
vehicle was also damaged. The police fired back and the attackers withdrew.
NOVEMBER 10: Zlatan Ivanovic, born 1974 and Bojan Pavlovic, born 1976, from
Josanica village, near Leposavic disappeared yesterday morning in the Srbica vicinity, the Drenica region. Their disappearance was reported to the police. They transported firewood yesterday with intention to sell
it at the Srbica market place. No one have seen them since 10 PM The police search for the two disappeared men. The Srbica municipal authorities suspect they had been
abducted by members of an Albanian extremist group, which have appeared the several past days
increasingly in the region. Policeman Sreten Cvetanovic was slightly wounded around
11 AM during the attack of heavily armed Albanian extremists group on a regular police patrol near by
Negrovac village, Drenica vicinity. During the clash, the police killed one of the attackers, Abedin Bujupi,
born 1961 from Orlate. Weapon and four KLA uniforms were found at the killed one.Three policemen were badly wounded in an
attack made by Albanian extremists at 7 PM. The policemen wounded are as follows: Veljko Mertic from Negotin, and conscripts Slavko Amidzic and
Sasa Stefanovic from Kosovo Polje. The policemen wounded were transported to the Pristina Clinical - Hospital Center, and have undergone
surgical treatment. According to the surgeon statement, their lives are not endangered.
The Albanian extremists attacked the police station and its other facilities in Glogovac using mortars,
bazookas and automatic weapons. The police facilities underwent significant damages.
The police fired back and after an hour of fighting, they repulsed the attack.
NOVEMBER 12: All Albanians that were held in Josanica village, near Leposavic,
were released tonight, Media Centar was reported. Josanica village inhabitants are revolted due to abduction of their relatives by Albanian extremists Zlatan
Ivanovic and Bojan Pavlovic three days ago in Srbica, kept certain number of Albanians that were driving
cars on the road alongside the village. The Leposavic PD and local authorities react last night, so the kept Albanians were released.
NOVEMBER 13: Zlatan Jovanovic and Bojan Pavlovic coming from Josanica, near by
Leposavic, abducted four days ago in Srbica by the albanian extremists, were released late last night and
returned to their houses. Murat Hadjosa, a member of the Prekoluka local security, Decane
vicinity, was killed. Hadjosa was killed from automatic weapon during attack of Albanian extremists on his house. His son
was wounded during the attack.
NOVEMBER 16: Albanian extremists attacked the police patrol at 11:30 AM in Donja Lapastica village, Podujevo municipality.
No casualties were reported among the policemen, while several police vehicles were riddled with assault
rifle bullets. The police fired back. Several sniper rifle bullets were fired at the Orahovac police station morning; the Orahovac municipal authorities confirmed Media Centar.
No casualties were reported among the police. A bullet hit a police vehicle, parked in the police yard.
Albanian extremists attacked the police patrol with automatic weapons and bazookas morning on the road Dulje - Malisevo, near Belanica village.
NOVEMBER 17: At 04:30 PM , Olivera Simic from Klina was badly
wounded in an attack made by Albanian extremists, on the road Pec, near Iglarevo village.
She suffered a piercing wound in her leg above her knee and was transported to Pec hospital, where she
was kept for further hospital treatment; the Pec municipal authorities informed Media Centar.
The attackers opened fire from assault rifles against the car that, in addition to the wounded, were also
occupied by the driver and three kids. None of them was hurt.
NOVEMBER 19: Policeman, named Slobodan Miketic was badly wounded, while
two other policemen were lightly wounded in an attack of Albanian extremists at the police patrol, made
last night at 9:30 PM , on the road Decane - Djakovica, near Erec village.
Miketic received first aid at the Pec hospital, and then, was transported to the Pristina Clinical - Hospital
center. Automatic weapons and bazookas were used in the attack against the police patrol.
Nuredin Zejnulahu (1949), physician, was badly wounded in front of his house last night at about 9 PM in Pec. He was transported to the Pristina Hospital, but, later, he
succumbed his wounds. According to his family statement, three masked persons, wearing uniforms, attacked Zejnulahu. They
also wounded lightly his daughter Aida Zejnulahu. After receiving first aid in Pec Hospital, the daughter
was released home for further home treatment. The Pec municipal authorities claimed Albanian extremists had killed Zejnulahu, because he was loyal to
Serbia. Policeman, named Goran Zbiljic (31), Podujevo police department
member, was reported missing. He left the police station at about 8 PM and drove off in his car "Zastava 101" type, license plates No. PR 139-435 and from then on, his
faith have been unknown. The police have been searching for the missing policeman, because they suspect, Albanian extremists
had kidnaped him. Hakif Hoti (1942) was kidnapped last night in front of his house in
Bradas village, near Podujevo. According to his wife statement, who reported the case to the police,
several armed Albanians, wearing camouflage uniforms with the insignia of KLA, had
taken Hoti and went toward Bajcina village.
NOVEMBER 20: Two policemen were killed, three were badly wounded, and one
was lightly wounded in an attack committed by Albanian extremists, this morning, at 6:45 AM , in
Prilep village, Decane municipality. Zoran Vrbaski (1973) and Janos Cizmadija (1953) are the policemen that were killed, both police members
from Kikinda. Aleksandar Stojanovic, Igor Bus and Goran Borovica are the policemen badly wounded,
Caba Pakai, the police conscript got light wounds. Wounded policemen were transported to the Pristina Clinical - Hospital Center.
The Albanian extremists attacked the police vehicle, the policemen used to return from their shift. A
projectile had hit the vehicle from the anti-tank launcher, and then, a fire was made from the assault rifles.
The police have been searching after the criminals.
NOVEMBER 24: Policeman named Goran Zbiljic, the Podujevo police department
member that was kidnapped by Albanian extremists a week ago, was liberated.
U.S. Kosovo Diplomatic Observation Mission (KDOM) team also mediated the liberation of the policeman
kidnapped.
NOVEMBER 25: An Albanian extremist group attacked a regular police patrol with
automatic weapons and bazookas at about 12 PM on the road Djakovica - Dolac, near
Rakovina village, the Djakovica municipal authorities reported Media Centar.
The policemen fired back and killed one of the attackers named Isuf Oluri (1959). He was wearing a
uniform with the insignia of the separatist KLA and was armed with a bazooka.
The police found an assault rifle, uniforms and larger quantities of food in the basement of the house
nearby, close to the spot the barricade was set up on an excess road.
NOVEMBER 27: Tanjug Agency journalists Nebojsa Radosevic and Vladimir
Dobricic kidnapped October 16, near Magura village have been released at 2:30 PM in
Dragobilje village, between Malisevo and Orahovac. They were released under the mediation of OSCE
verifiers. Around 7 AM, on the slopes of Pastrik Mountain, a large group of Albanians intrude into the territory of Yugoslavia from Albania. Since Yugoslav border guard
detected them, the armed Albanians ran away toward border village Ljubizde, Prizren vicinity. During the
field search, border guards found some 20 automatic rifles and a large quantity of ammunition as well as
medical material. Representatives of Yugoslav Army Pristina Corps Headquarters along with members of OSCE Verification
Mission located dugouts, hideouts and bases for new attempts of Albanian extremists penetration from
Albania to Yugoslavia on the spot. Around 1 PM, near by the Gorozup Border Post, west of Prizren, some 10 Albanian terrorists tried to intrude from Albania into Yugoslavia. They opened fire
against Yugoslav border soldiers, who fired back. No casualty was reported, and the attackers withdrew deep into the Albanian territory.
Border village inhabitants called again Yugoslav Army in order to give them full protection from the
intrusions of Albanian extremists.
NOVEMBER 28: Around 11:30 PM, a group of armed terrorists tried to intrude from Albania into Yugoslavia in the area of the Liken Border Post.
At Yugoslav border guard warning, they opened fire, and one of the attackers was wounded and
transported to the Djakovica Military Hospital. He had with him passports of the Muslim-Croat Federation
and Yugoslav as well, it was confirmed to the Media Centar at the Yugoslav Army Pristina Corps
Headquarters. OSCE Verification Mission was informed about the incident and they were asked to interrogate the
incident.
