- CKOO 98.5 will flip to news-talk, first such private station on FM
> Will be in direct competition with CKAC 730 AM
> Anchor host: Paul Arcand (but he is still under contract at CKAC)
> Other stars: Jacques Demers (ex-hockey coach), Julie Pelletier (sexologist), Gilles Proulx (talk-show host)
> Most (if not all) staff will be re-assigned
> Will broadcast all 162 Expos regular season, plus 3 pre-season games (was on CKAC for 32 years)
> Will draw on resources from sister-station, Info 690
> Will play Christmas music all day until Jan. 5, 2004
