A native of Northbrook, Illinois, Jayne Brook attended the prestigious Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center in Waterford, Connecticut. She later left for England to complete her studies at both the Weber-Douglass School and the Bulkford School of Acting. To finance her education she modelled. To train her acting skills he appeared in London stage productions such as "Much ado about nothing" and "Danny and the Deep Blue Sea".

After five years she returned and was cast in the tv-series "WIOU". She also was a regular in the series "Sirens" as a rookie police woman..

Jayne Brooks' film credits include roles in the feature films "Kindergarten Cop," "Clean Slate" and "Bye Bye, Love."

She also appeared in the television movies "Doing Time on Maple Drive," "Bitter Blood" and, most recently, "The Four Diamonds," which also starred Christine Lahti from "Chicago Hope."
Her recent project was a science fiction movie "Gattaca" with Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke.

Jayne Brook lives with her husband and daughter currently in Los Angeles.
